Bearing The object of the present invention is a bearing for a pivot of a moving body, in particular of a piece of equipment such as a timepiece, measuring instrument, etc., which comprises an axial stop for the pivot and a member provided with a hole to hold the pivot radially in place.
This bearing is characterized in that the stopper and this member have the same external diameter and are both driven inside a bore in part of a frame, so that they are in contact with the one with the other.
In one embodiment of the bearing according to the invention, said member is constituted by a metal pin and a pierced stone carried by this pin, and the axial stop is constituted by a counter-pivot stone.
This embodiment of the bearing, object of the invention, is shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing. The single figure is a view in diametral section.
Referring to the drawing, 1 represents a part of a frame, which may be a plate of a watch movement, or a train bridge of this movement. 1 could also be part of a frame of another device, comprising at least one mobile which must be pivoted so that the braking moment due to friction is as small as possible.
A cylindrical bore 2, counter-milled at 3 and 3a is drilled through this part 1, to a well determined diameter. A counter-pivot stone 4, as well as an annular metal bezel 5, furnished with a drilled stone 6, are both driven out by force, from the lower face of part 1, inside the hole 2 , this operation being facilitated by the countersink 3a. The chaton 5 and the counter-pivot stone 4 indeed both have a cylindrical outer edge of the same diameter, chosen so that these two elements are held firmly in place inside the bore 2.
The counter cutter 3, on the side of the part 1 outside the movement, is provided mainly for decorative purposes.
The fixing of the chaton and the counter-pivot inside the bore 2 is provided sufficiently firm so that the counter-pivot stone, in particular, does not undergo any axial displacement, for example in a bearing intended to be used as upper bearing, that is to say on the bridge side, of a field wheel carrying an eccentric second hand, when the hand is placed by exerting axial pressure. Moreover, this fixing must not be too firm, because the two stones must be able to be displaced axially, inside the bore 2, for example using a micrometric screw jib crane, in order to adjust , where appropriate, the axial range of the mobile pivoted in this bearing.
Instead of the member intended to hold the pivot radially in place, being constituted by two elements, a metal bezel and a pierced stone, it could only include one and be entirely metal. As for the counter-pivot stone, it could also be replaced by a metal part.
