Alarm watch The present invention relates to an alarm watch, characterized by a device which makes it possible to obtain at least two ringing tones of different intensities, whether or not the alarm watch is worn.
The downside to alarm clocks that only have one chime is that they usually give a relatively loud warning.
The object of the present invention is to avoid this drawback.
The drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the control device of the striking mechanism of the first embodiment; fig. 2 is a section along II-II of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a section along III-III of FIG. 1; fig. 4 partially represents the second embodiment.
The alarm clock shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 comprises a button (1) pivoted in a bore of the box and capable of performing a rotary movement. It can occupy two different angular positions. In one of these positions the alarm clock gives a ringing of high intensity, while, in the other position, the alarm clock gives a ringing of very discreet intensity. For this, the button (1) is integral with a pinion (2) engaged with a chainring (3) which is located at one end of a slider (4). At the other end of the cursor (4), there is a stud (5) whose function is to transmit the shocks of the hammer (6) to the gong (7). The hammer (6), integral with the anchor (8), is actuated by the escape wheel of the alarm clock (9).
The button (1) is used to activate the slider (4), which can take position 4 '. This puts the stud (5) off in position 5 '. The hammer (6) is no longer in connection with the stud (5) beats freely and produces a sound of very discreet intensity.
To dampen the noise caused by the impact of the teeth of the alarm escapement wheel (9) against the impulse planes of the anchor (8), the wheel (9), which is mounted idle on a pinion (14 ) is driven by a friction spring (13) (see fig. 3), fixed to the pinion shaft (14).
This friction spring (13) is kept tensioned by a washer (15).
The button (1), in addition to the rotary movements that it can perform to control bells of different intensities, can also move axially to block the bell by means of a lever which is not shown. on the drawing.
One of the axial positions (button pulled back) allows the functions of the alarm clock, the other axial position (shown in fig. 1) causes the ringing to stop, whatever the angular position of the button.
In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the button (1) actuates, by means of a cam (10), a damping spring (11) which applies the gong (7) against a fixed support (12). This has the effect of damping the vibrations of the gong (7).
