Salzsäure in 100 Teilen Wasser getropft.
Process for the production of an Ehrom-containing monoazo dye The present patent relates to a process for the production of a chromium-containing azo dye. The process is characterized in that a monoazo dye of the formula
EMI0001.0008
treated with chromium donating agents under such conditions that 2 molecules -lono azo dye with. at least one atom of chromium enter into a complex bond.
The new chromium-containing dye obtained is a dark blue powder which dyes wool from a neutral to weakly acidic bath in a greenish blue hTUance.
Example 15.4 parts of 5-nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzene were dissolved with 4 parts of sodium hydroxide in 200 Tei len water, 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite in 35 parts of water were added and this mixture was not exceeded at a temperature of 3 25 parts by volume conc. Hydrochloric acid was added dropwise to 100 parts of water.
A yellowish red colored suspension of the diazo body is obtained. After the end of the diazotization, the acidity of the diazo suspension is blunted with sodium bicarbonate to Congo neutral, whereupon a solution of 34 parts of 1,3,6-naphthol disulfomethylamide and 12 parts of sodium hydroxide in 300 parts of 0-3 water is added.
Then 5 parts of 25% ammonia are added and the temperature is allowed to rise slowly to 20 over a period of 50 minutes. The dye formed is then filtered off; he can go with. 5% saline solution.
The dye stains -Volle from an acid bath with a bluish red shade, which when chromed results in a greenish blue.
The dye is chromed as follows: The press cake of the o, o'-dioxyazo dye is suspended in 1000 parts of water and 10 parts of 25% ammonia, at 80 with 100 parts by volume of a solution of ammonium disalicylatochroinate (containing 3 g Cr per 100 em3 solution) and heated to 90-100 for 6 hours.
Then 100 parts of sodium chloride are added, the precipitated chromium complex is filtered off at about 70, washed with 5% sodium chloride solution and dried. It is a dark blue powder which dissolves in hot water with blue, in concentrated sulfuric acid with blue-violet color. For brewing, it is preferably mixed with trisodium phosphate and an anionic dispersant.
The dye also dyes wool from neutral to weakly acidic baths in a greenish blue nuanee. very good ethics.
