Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 296001. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Vinylsulfonfarbsto$es. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten tes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Vinylsulfonfarbstoffes, welches dadurch ge kennzeichnet ist, dass man 2 Mol der Diazo- niumverbindung aus 1-Aminophenyl-4-vinyl- sulfon zunächst in stark saurem, dann in schwach essigsaurem Mediiun mit 1 Mol 1- Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-3,6-disulfonsäure kup pelt.
Beispiel: 36,6 Gewichtsteile 1-Aminophenyl-4-vinyl- sulfon werden in der üblichen Weise diazo- tiert und mit einer wässerigen Lösung von 40,15 Gewichtsteilen 1-Amino-8-oxynaphtha- lin-3,6-distrlfonsäure bei 0-5 C vereinigt. Nach einstündigem Verrühren wird mit einer wässerigen Lösung von Natriumacetat so lange versetzt, bis keine Diazoniumverbindung mehr nachweisbar ist.
Nach beendeter Kupplung wird der Vinylsul.fonfarbstoff der Formel:

durch Zugabe von Kochsalz abgeschieden, ab gesaugt, mit Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und getrocknet.
Das so erhaltene Produkt stellt ein schwar zes Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit dun kelblauer Farbe löst und Wolle in schwarz blauen Tönen von guten Echtheitseigenschaf ten färbt..
