  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 261632.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferbaren     Polyazofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren     zier    Herstellung eines kupferbaren       Polyazofarbstoffes.    Das Verfahren ist da  durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1     Mol        tetra-          zotiertes    4,4' -     Di    -     (3"-amino-        4"-oxy-benzoyl-          amino)-3,

  3'-dimethoxy-diphenyl    mit 2     Mol    des  durch saure Kupplung von     diazotierter        5-          Amino    - 2 -     oxybenzol    -1-     earbonsäure    mit     2-          Amino-5-oxy-naphthalin-7-sulfonsäure    erhal  tenen Farbstoffes in     alkalischem    Medium ver  einigt.  



  Der erhaltene neue     Tetrakisazofarbstoff     stellt ein braunes Pulver dar, welches sich in  Wasser mit bordeauxroter und in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit stumpf violetter  Farbe löst und Baumwolle oder Zellwolle       naehgekupfert    in echten bordeauxroten Tö  nen färbt.

           Beispiel:     51,4 Teile     4,4'-Di-(3"-amino-4"-oxy-benzoyl-          amino)-3,3'-dimethoxy-diphenyl    werden in 600  Teilen Wasser mit 8 Teilen Natronlauge kalt  gelöst, mit 13,8 Teilen     Natriumnitrit    ver  mischt und in der Kälte unter Rühren auf  40 Teile konzentrierte Salzsäure     und    80 Teile  Wasser     aufgetropft.    Nachdem die überschüs  sige     Mineralsäure    mit Soda abgestumpft  wurde, giesst man bei tiefer Temperatur     zu     einer wässerigen Lösung von 80,6 Teilen       Monoazofarbstoff,

      erhalten durch saure Kupp  lung von     diazotierter        5-Amino-2-oxy-benzol-          carbonsäure    mit     2-Amino-5-oxy-naphthalin-7-          sulfonsäure,    800 Teile Wasser,     40    Teile Soda  und 150 Teile     Pyridin.    Man lässt unter Rüh  ren auf gewöhnliche     Temperatur    steigen.  Nach mehreren Stunden ist der     Tetrakisazo-          farbstoff    der Formel
