Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Derivats des     4-Methyl-7-amino-cumarins.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  Derivat des     4-Methyl-7-amino-cumarins    ge  langt, wenn man     4-Methyl-7-amino-cumarin     mit     Natriumbenzaldehydbisulfit    umsetzt.  



  Die     Umsetzung    kann z. B. in der Weise  vorgenommen werden, dass man     4-14Zethy    1-7  amino -     cumarin    mit einer konzentrierten       wässrigen        Natriumbenzaldehydbisulfitlösung,     die vorteilhaft schwach alkalisch gestellt  wird, auf 95-100 C erhitzt,     bis    das Aus  gangsmaterial in Lösung gegangen ist.  



  Das so erhaltene neue     Natriumsalz    bildet  ein helles Pulver, das von Wasser zu einer  bläulich fluoreszierenden Lösung aufgenom  men wird. Es kann zum optischen Bleichen  von Wolle verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Aus 26 Teilen     Natriumbisulfit,        40ge-          wichtsprozentig,    10,6 Teilen     Benzaldehyd     und 50 Teilen Wasser wird eine     :Benzaldehyd-          bisulfitlösung    hergestellt, die mit einer       wässrigen        Natriumcarbonatlösung    schwach al  kalisch gestellt wird. Dazu werden 3 Teile       4-Methyl-7-amino-cumarin    gegeben und 1    Stunde rückfliessend gekocht. Die erhaltene  Lösung wird zur Trockne eingedampft. Man  erhält ein wasserlösliches, helles Pulver. Die  Lösung fluoresziert bläulich.



  Process for the preparation of a derivative of 4-methyl-7-amino-coumarin. It has been found that a derivative of 4-methyl-7-amino-coumarin is obtained if 4-methyl-7-amino-coumarin is reacted with sodium benzaldehyde bisulfite.



  The implementation can e.g. B. be done in such a way that 4-14Zethy 1-7 amino - coumarin with a concentrated aqueous sodium benzaldehyde bisulfite solution, which is advantageously made slightly alkaline, heated to 95-100 C until the starting material has gone into solution.



  The new sodium salt obtained in this way forms a light powder, which is taken up by water to form a bluish fluorescent solution. It can be used for optical bleaching of wool.



  <I> Example: </I> From 26 parts of sodium bisulfite, 40 percent by weight, 10.6 parts of benzaldehyde and 50 parts of water, a benzaldehyde bisulfite solution is prepared, which is made slightly alkaline with an aqueous sodium carbonate solution. 3 parts of 4-methyl-7-amino-coumarin are added and the mixture is refluxed for 1 hour. The resulting solution is evaporated to dryness. A water-soluble, pale powder is obtained. The solution has a bluish fluorescence.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Derivats des 4-Methyl-7-amino-cumarins, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4-Methyl-7- amino-eumarin mit Natriumbenzaldehydbi- sulfit umsetzt. Das so erhaltene neue Natriumsalz bildet ein helles Pulver, das von Wasser zu einer bläulich fluoreszierenden Lösung aufgenom men wird. Es kann zum optischen Bleichen von Wolle verwendet werden. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of a new derivative of 4-methyl-7-amino-coumarin, characterized in that 4-methyl-7-amino-eumarin is reacted with sodium benzaldehyde bisulfite. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4-Methyl-7-amino- cumarin mit einer konzentrierten wässri- gen Natriumbenzaldehydbisulfitlösung, die schwach alkalisch gestellt wird, bei 95-100 C umsetzt. SUBSTANTIAL CLAIM: Process according to patent claim, characterized in that 4-methyl-7-aminocoumarin is reacted with a concentrated aqueous sodium benzaldehyde bisulfite solution which is made slightly alkaline at 95-100C.
