Watch movement. The present invention relates to a watch movement. In this construction, the inventor has endeavored to distribute, rationally, the various energy transmission elements of the motor barrel so that the ratio of the height of the movement to its diameter is less than that of the movements. usual.
This invention can be applied, for example, to a central seconds watch, to a shaped watch or even to an extra-thin watch.
It is known that, particularly in movements with a direct central second, the addition of one or more auxiliary mobiles leads to an increase in the height of the movement. In order to be able to remedy this drawback, the inventor uses two bearings mounted coaxially, the first of which couples the barrel and the minute pinion and the second, driven by this same minute pinion, drives the other moving parts of the finishing by successive transmissions.
This construction allows the barrel to be judiciously placed in the movement, since it does not mesh directly with the minute pinion as is usually the case.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment. of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a plan view of the movement, while FIG. 2 is a partition along the line A-B-C-B-D-E-P of FIG. 1.
The frame of the movement shown in the figures comprises a plate 1, a gear bridge 2, a barrel bridge 3, an additional bridge 4 and a cock 5. The movement, with a central second, comprises a motor barrel 6 of which the drum drives the pinion 16 of the escape wheel. 17 by the intermediary of a cog, the pinion of the minutes 9 and the mobile of the seconds 14, 15 are mounted coaxially in C, at the center of the movement. 7 and 8 are two coaxial references, the first of which is integral with the axis, while the second is freely adjusted to it; the return 7 couples the barrel 6 and the pinion 9, while the return 8 cooperates, on the one hand, with the pinion 9 and, on the other hand, with an intermediate pinion 1.0 integral with an intermediate wheel 11 of axis D.
The latter actuates the pinion 12 and the middle wheel 13 of axis E which meshes with the seconds pinion 14 mounted with the seconds wheel 15 on the axis C which is adjusted by a pivot in the gear bridge 2 and by two collars in the tubular shaft formed by the pinion 9. Finally, the second wheel 15 drives the pinion 16 carried with the escapement wheel 17, by the axis P which, with the axis E of the exhaust, are pivoted between the plate and the gear bridge. The axis B of the references 7 and 8, the axis D of the intermediate mobile 10, 11 and the minute pinion 9 are pivoted between the plate 1 and the additional bridge 4. The pointing of the movement is clearly represented in FIG. 1.
It will be noted, by considering this figure, that a certain degree of freedom is available to determine the position of the barrel, the location and the dimension of the references 7 and 8 being chosen in an adequate manner.
Furthermore, it will be noted that by inserting a reference between the barrel and the minute pinion, it is necessary to reverse the direction of rotation of the barrel and, consequently, the direction of winding. To do this, it will suffice for the crown wheel 19 to drive the ratchet 20 via an auxiliary transmission 18.
The construction shown makes it possible to provide the movement with a relatively powerful motor barrel and to have sufficient space for the regulating members.
