Watch movement. The present invention relates to a watch movement of relatively low height compared to its diameter. It is known that this kind of movement presents certain construction difficulties, particularly in small format models.
By a judicious arrangement of the different moving parts of the finishing, the inventor has constructed a movement which is characterized in that it comprises a return freely adjusted on the shaft of the motor barrel, said return being driven by the minute pinion and transmitting the driving force of the barrel to the other moving parts of the finishing.
This cog arrangement can be applied to a central seconds watch or to a shaped watch or even to an ultra-thin watch.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, a watch with a central seconds hand constituting an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2 is a schematic section along the line IV-I-II-III-IV-V of the fi '. 1.
The frame of the movement comprises a plate 1, a gear bridge 2, a bay bridge 3, an intermediate bridge 4 and a cock 5. The movement itself comprises a motor barrel 6, the drum of which drives the pinion 15 of the escape wheel 16 through the intermediary (the one cog which is made up of the pinion (minutes 7, of a reference 8 mounted co-axially on the barrel shaft, (read pinion and an intermediate wheel 9 and 10, the pinion and the middle wheel 11 and 12 and the pinion and the seconds wheel 13 and 14. The minutes pinion 7 and the seconds mobile (13, 14) are mounted coaxially in IV .
On the other hand, the reference 8 cooperating, on the one hand, with the pinion of the mirrors 7 and., On the other hand, with the pinion 9 (the intermediate wheel, is freely adjusted on the barrel shaft by the 'intermediate a ring 8a .; as the return 8 has the same number of teeth as the barrel, these two members rotate at the same speed and therefore do not give rise to any friction on one another. pinion of the minutes 7 is pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate and, on the other hand, in the intermediate bridge 4. Said pinion is of tubular shape, serves as a shaft for the pavement of minutes 19 and for the cannon wheel 20.
The shaft of the second mobile unit coaxial with the minute pinion is freely adjusted in the tubular shaft by two adjacent collars 17 and 18, while the end of said shaft is. pivoted in the cog bridge.
Finally, according to the usual method, winding (the movement takes place through the intermediary of the ratchet of barrel 21 and of the wheel (crown 22.
The advantage of this construction is that it gives the movement a relatively low height, without however reducing the normal height of the motor barrel. In addition, the intermediate wheel 10, off-center, avoids the use of a center wheel, it follows that only the second wheel occupies part of the space above the balance; the regulating bodies therefore have sufficient space.
