Automatic winding mechanism with oscillating weight for watch movement. The subject of the invention is an automatic winding mechanism with an oscillating mass for a watch movement, constructed in such a way that this oscillating mass drives the barrel shaft by rotating in one direction via a plane differential concen tric to the movement and does not act on the mechanism by turning in the other direction.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a sectional view along a line 1-I1 of FIG. which is a partial plan view, at. reduced scale, with parts torn off allowing the main parts of the mechanism to be seen.
In the (lessin, we distinguish the oscillating mass 1 with its core \ pivoting around the center pivot 3. The stone 11 of the bridge. Of center 1? And the washer -1 elastically driven: on the center pivot limit the height of the oscillating mass.
The differential comprises a wheel 9 integral with a pinion 10 pivoting around the center piert-e 11, the fixed part 13 having an external toothing 13n. and presenting. soot entry form 13b to introduce the laws of assembly the pinion 10 which it maintains in height, and a satellite 8 pivoting in a movable plate 6 and in -Lin flat ring 7 integral with this plate.
The wheel 9 has one tooth less than the toothing 13 (r. While having the same pitch diameter, which allows these two toothings to mesh with the same pinion forming a satellite, the difference in pitch of said toothings and of the pinion being very low and admissible for a good gear. The. toothing 13a being fixed, one obtains between the number of turns of the plate and of the wheel 9 a ratio equal to the number of last Bette teeth, from where possibility of obtaining simply a large gear ratio.
The plate 6 pivots around the mass core 2 and carries a pawl 18 working with the fixed teeth 13a and allowing the plate to rotate only in the proper winding direction.
The oscillating weight 1 while rotating. in the winding direction drives the plate 6 by a pawl spring 5 acting on a fine den ture 6a. of the plateau. With the differential functioning, the pinion 10 drives the upper ratchet 14 connected by a snap 15 to the lower ratchet 16 integral with the ball shaft 17.
When the oscillating mass rotates in the opposite direction to winding, the pawl spring 5 no longer drives the plate which is then held still by the pawl 18 in engagement with the teeth 13a.
During manual winding, only the lower rock is driven, the automatic winding mechanism remains stationary.
The arrows drawn on the mobiles in FIG. \ 'indicate in solid lines the direction of rotation during automatic winding and in dotted lines the movement. pawls 5 and 1 $ when the oscillating weight turns in the opposite direction during winding.
