Dans le mouvement représenté, l'axe 1 de la. roue de centre est percé sur toute sa longueur, il tourne dans, un pont 2. et dans la platine qui n'est pas représentée. La roue des secondes -est désignée par 3;
alla porte un ressort4ame 4 qui traverse le moyeu 5 de la roue de seconde dans une fraisure 6 et s'appuie sur l'axe 7 de l'aiguille des secon des.;
Central seconds watch movement. The object of the invention is a clockwork movement with a direct central second, that is to say one in which the mobile which drives the seconds hand is inserted into the normal gear train which transmits the,
movement of the motor cylinder. This clockwork movement is characterized in that it comprises a pusher the stroke of which is in two parts, the first serving to stop the seconds hand and the second to reset it to zero. .
Preferably, the axis of said second at the center will carry a braking plate and a reset core cooperating, the first with a shoe, the second with a reset hammer.
The reset hammer will generally have an actuating arm for the brake shoe, this arm only acting on said shoe for part of the travel of the reset hammer.
The drawing shows, by way of example, and insofar as the understanding of the invention so requires, a central seconds clockwork movement according to the present invention.
Fig. Fig. 1 is a section through the seconds hand., and Fig. 2 is a schematic plan view.
In the movement shown, axis 1 of the. center wheel is drilled along its entire length, it turns in a bridge 2. and in the plate which is not shown. The seconds wheel -is designated by 3;
alla carries a spring 4 blade which passes through the hub 5 of the seconds wheel in a countersink 6 and is supported on the axis 7 of the second hand needle .;
this one is not represented. This axis, of the needle of the s @ ocond @ es carries a braking disc & and a resetting core 9 with which a hammer cooperates 10. In the voi sinage -du disc of finishing 8- is, mounted,
at the end of an arm forming a spring 11 and fixed at 12 to the frame of the movement, a brake shoe 1.3i which carries an ankle 14.
This Ankle is intended: to cooperate momentarily with a notch 115 made at the end of an 'arm 1.6, making a spring and serving to transmit the braking force as on' will see it later.
This arm 16 came -from manufacture with the hammer 10 for resetting there that, pivoted at 17. On the frame of the movement, can be actuated by means of a pusher 118 and be brought back into its. inactive position by a spring 19 fixed by a screw 20 on the frame.
When the watch is running with the pusher 18 at rest, the spring 19 maintains the reset hammer, in the position shown in dotted lines. The useful face of the hammer is in the air and far enough from the center of the heart to let the latter pass.
End acting on the pusher, the hammer, in the first part of its travel, will first press via the inclined plane 25 on the pin 14 to apply the brake shoe. 1.3 on disk,
brake 8 and thus stop the second hand. This stop will be. also. maintained after the inclined plane 2 @ 5 has slipped on the @ ëhevïlle to engage the notch 1.5 and the peg 14,
position represented in phantom lines., moment when the first part of the race will be completed and when there will be a slight sensation of stopping.
If you press more, to make the hammer run the second part of its stroke, the eneache 1à, which tends to describe around the pivot 17 of the hammer an arc of #rdle,, separates, from the ankle 14.
Tee brake is alum released, the hammer falls on the reset core 9, to bring this @last in the position which is drawn in flat lines in fig. 2 @the drawing. The second hand then returns to its starting position and the
spring 4 slides on the axis 7. which carries it.
Chews the pusher, the spring A acts on the hammer to return it to the position where the .des needle. seconds is released and can be driven by the friction of the spring 4 on the axis 7.
