[Class 44] A device for securing a shutter by means of a bolt passed therethrough, comprising a plate secured to the inside of the door, and either one or two spring-urged latch members pivoted, like first order levers, towards the middle of the plate and actuated by end thumb-pieces, the tip of the bolt having a peripheral groove in which the latch members engage in the locking position, is characterized in that said plate is provided with a U-shaped channel in which said latch members are guided. A plate E, Fig. 2, secured on the inside of the door has a circular aperture G through which passes the conical tip of a bolt A, the head of which remains on the outside of the shutter thus holding it against the glass.
