Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen, höhermolekularen, a-substituierten Benzylaminderivates. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten tes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserlöslichen, höhermolekularen, a-substi- tuierten Benzylaminderivates, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man a-Chlordodecyl-benzol mit Trimethylamin umsetzt.
Die neue Verbindung bildet eine helle Paste, die in Wasser klar löslich ist und als Desinfektionsmittel ver wendet werden kann. <I>Beispiel:</I> 50 Teile (a-Chlordodecyl)-benzol werden in einem Emailautoklaven bei 15011 10 Stun den lang mit überschüssigem Trimethylamin umgesetzt.
Der resultierende halbfeste Brei ist nicht klar wasserlöslich, durch Abtrennung des Ätherlöslichen hinterbleibt beim Ein dampfen der wässrigen Lösung eine helle Paste, die sich wieder glatt in eine 10o/oige wässrige Lösung überführen lässt.

The subject of the present additional patent is a process for the preparation of a water-soluble, higher molecular weight, α-substituted benzylamine derivative, characterized in that α-chlorododecylbenzene is reacted with trimethylamine.
The new compound forms a light-colored paste that is clearly soluble in water and can be used as a disinfectant. <I> Example: </I> 50 parts of (a-chlorododecyl) benzene are reacted with excess trimethylamine for 10 hours in an enamel autoclave at 15011.
The resulting semi-solid pulp is not clearly soluble in water; by separating off the ether-soluble, a light-colored paste remains when the aqueous solution is evaporated, which can be converted again smoothly into a 10% aqueous solution.
