31 automatic winding mechanism with, oscillating weight for watch movements. The subject of the invention is an automatic winding mechanism with an oscillating mass for watch movements, in which this mass drives the shaft of the motor barrel, by means of an impulse pawl acting on a winding wheel. . toothed.
In the usual mechanisms of this kind, the oscillating mass controls the winding wheel by means of a gear train. The speed is judiciously multiplied to allow the mass to overcome the resistance of the barrel spring. This construction therefore involves the use of additional supplies and the work of the watchmaker is complicated.
The object of the invention is to simplify mechanisms of this type, to improve their operation and to reduce the cost price of the watch movement.
To this end, the impulse pawl: mentioned is controlled by means of an eccentric integral with the oscillating mass. This eccentric, preferably a circular eccentric, can be constituted, for example, by an integral part of the axis of the oscillating mass, by an element attached or adjusted on this axis, or even by a part of the axis. oscillating weight itself.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention, both shown in plan, one in FIG. 1 and the other in fig. 2.
In the figures of the drawing, one distinguishes the oscillating mass 4 fixed on an axis 5, or adjusted, on a square of this axis. The pivots of the axis 5 are fitted in bearings fitted in a lower bridge (not shown) and in an upper bridge 6. On the axis 5 is wedged (forced out) a circular eccentric 7 which, however , could be adjusted on a square of this axis or be constituted by an integral part thereof.
The pivots of the oscillating mass are arranged in the middle of the frame of the movement, while the center of the eccentric 7 is located approximately on the periphery of the pivots of said mass. On a square of the barrel shaft (not shown) is fitted the winding wheel (barrel ratchet) 8 which turns, during reassembly, in the direction indicated by the arrow, a retaining pawl 9 of which 10 is. the pawl spring, being engaged -in the. den ture of the wheel 8. This wheel is controlled by the oscillating mass 4, via the eccentric 7 which actuates an impulse pawl.
According to the first embodiment (Fig. 1), the impulse pawl 1.1 is freely mounted, by a collar 12 which this pawl comprises, on the eccentric 7, while 1 (= nose of the pawl is engaged in. the toothing of the winding wheel 8, under the action of others, comes out of the pawl 13 resting, by its free end, against a pin 14 fixed to the bridge 6.
As a result, the eccentric 7 communicates to the pawl 11 an alternating translational movement, the effect of which is to periodically advance the wheel 8, under the action of the mass 4 animated by an oscillating movement.
According to the second embodiment (fib. -?), The eccentric 7 is engaged between the prongs of a forked lever 15 pivoted freely on the screw 16 which holds the winding wheel 8, so that this lever can perform an oscillating movement concentric with said wheel 8. On the lever 15 is pivoted, by means of a screw 17, the impulse pawl 17 'of which a heel 18 carries the pawl spring 19 resting laterally , by its free end, against one of the prongs of lever 15.
This pawl, held in engagement with the wheel toothing 8, advances the latter by one or a few teeth on each oscillation of the lwier 1.5. The. two mechanisms described are of an extremely simple design, take up relatively little space and operate flawlessly, practically without shocks.
The eccentric, organ. essential of the mechanism, could be integral with the oscillating mass, for example be adapted to the hub (this mass or be formed by an eccentric bearing of the hub.
In addition, the circular eccentric, shown as an example in the drawing, could: be replaced by a heart eccentric or ii developpetnent, ete.
