Ensemble composé de deux lits jumeaux. L'objet de l'invention est un ensemble composé de deux lits jumeaux, caractérisé en ce que les deux lits sont montés sur un socle, chacun des lits étant pivoté sur ce socle près de l'angle extérieur de sa tête, des moyens de roulement permettant de déplacer à volonté soit l'un des lits, soit les deux, sur le socle par pivotement, de telle sorte que les deux lits peuvent être amenés de la position dans laquelle leurs deux grands côtés latéraux inté rieurs sont parallèles et juxtaposés, à. une position dans laquelle ces deux grands côtés font. un angle entre eux.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemples, deux formes .d'exécution de l'en semble faisant l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est un plan de la première forme d'exécution, l'un des lits étant repré senté en position normale, tandis que l'autre est représenté dans la. position qu'il peut ve nir occuper lorsqu'on veut nettoyer sous les lits ou faire ceux-ci.
La fig. ?- est une vue en perspective d'une seconde forme d'exécution, les deux lits étant écartés de leur position normale. L'ensemble représenté en, fig. 1 comprend un socle sur lequel sont montés les deux lits jumeaux 1 et 2. Ce socle se compose d'une traverse 3 placée sous les têtes 4 et 5 des lits et d'une traverse 6 placée sous les pieds 7 et 8 des lits. Ces traverses 3, et 6 sont reliées entre elles par deux longerons 9 placés cha cun sous l'un des lits.
Chacun des lits est pivoté sur la traverse 3 du socle en un point 10 situé près de l'angle extérieur de sa tête. Chaque lit peut donc se déplacer sur le socle par pivotement autour du point 10. Pour faciliter ce déplacement, des moyens de roulement sont prévus. Pour chacun des lits, ces moyens de roulement sont constitués par: une roulette 11 montée près de l'angle intérieur de la tête du lit et roulant sur la traverse 3, une roulette 12 montée près de l'angle intérieur du pied du lit et roulant sur la traverse 6, une roulette 13 montée près de l'extrémité de la traverse 6, le pied du lit appuyant sur cette roulette lors du déplacement du lit.
Près des deux extrémités de la traverse 6 sont disposés deux arrêts 14, tandis que le pied de chaque lit présente deux butées 15 et 16 destinées à venir en contact avec l'arrêt 14 correspondant. Lorsque le lit est en posi tion normale, comme c'est le cas pour le lit 1 de la fig. 1, c'est la butée 16 qui vient en contact avec l'arrêt 14. Lorsque le lit est dé placé par pivotement, le déplacement du lit pourra se poursuivre jusqu'à ce que la butée 15 vienne en contact avec l'arrêt 14, comme c'est le cas pour le lit 2 de la fig. 1. Cet arrêt 14 limite donc le déplacement du lit dans un sens et dans l'autre.
Les deux lits de l'ensemble peuvent donc être déplacés individuellement à partir de la position normale dans laquelle leurs deux côtés latéraux intérieurs 17 et 18 sont paral lèles et juxtaposés, jusqu'à une position dans laquelle ces deux grands côtés font un angle entre eux. Le déplacement de l'un des lits ou des deux permet un nettoyage facile du plancher sous les lits et permet de faire facilement les lits. Les lits se déplaçant sur un socle, ce déplacement ne nécessite pas le déplacement des tapis ou descentes de lit.
D'autre part, le fait que les lits s'écartent l'un de l'autre sans déplacement de l'angle extérieur de la tête de chaque lit évite de devoir déplacer les tables de nuit placées généralement à côté de la tête des lits, incon vénient qui existe lorsque les lits s'écartent l'un de l'autre tout en restant parallèles l'un à l'autre, comme dans certains systèmes con nus.

Each of the beds is pivoted on the cross member 3 of the base at a point 10 located near the outer corner of its head. Each bed can therefore move on the base by pivoting around point 10. To facilitate this movement, rolling means are provided. For each of the beds, these rolling means are constituted by: a roller 11 mounted near the interior corner of the head of the bed and rolling on the cross member 3, a roller 12 mounted near the interior angle of the foot of the bed and rolling on the cross member 6, a wheel 13 mounted near the end of the cross member 6, the foot of the bed pressing on this wheel when the bed is moving.
Near the two ends of the cross member 6 are arranged two stops 14, while the foot of each bed has two stops 15 and 16 intended to come into contact with the corresponding stop 14. When the bed is in the normal position, as is the case for bed 1 in fig. 1, it is the stop 16 which comes into contact with the stop 14. When the bed is moved by pivoting, the movement of the bed can continue until the stop 15 comes into contact with the stop 14 , as is the case for bed 2 of fig. 1. This stop 14 therefore limits the movement of the bed in one direction and the other.
The two beds of the set can therefore be moved individually from the normal position in which their two interior lateral sides 17 and 18 are parallel and juxtaposed, to a position in which these two long sides form an angle between them. . Moving one or both of the beds allows for easy cleaning of the floor under the beds and makes it easy to make the beds. As the beds move on a plinth, this movement does not require the movement of carpets or bed rails.
On the other hand, the fact that the beds move away from each other without moving the outer corner of the head of each bed avoids having to move the nightstands usually placed next to the head of the beds. , a drawback that exists when the beds move apart while remaining parallel to each other, as in some known systems.
