Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarb- stoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Diazoverbindung von 1-Amino-2-oxy-5-nitro- benzol in alkalischem Medium mit 1-Benzyl- amino - 7 - oxynaphthalin - 3 - sulf onsäure ver einigt.
Der getrocknete Farbstoff ist ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit lebhaft roter, in Wasser oder Na- triumcarbonatlösung mit olivgrüner Farbe löst und Wolle in blaustichig grünen Tönen färbt, die beim Nachchromieren in ein volles Olivgrün von ausgezeichneter Walk-, Pot- ting- und sehr guter Lichtechtheit übergehen. Die Färbung besitzt eine ausgezeichnete Abendfarbe.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Eine aus 15,4 Teilen 1-Amino-2-oxy-5- nitrobenzol hergestellte Diazosuspension wird mit einer Lösung von 32,9 Teilen der 1-Ben- zylamino-7-oxynaphthalin-3-sulfonsäure (er hältlich durch Umsetzen von 1-Amino-7-oxy- naphthalin-3-sulfonsäure mit 1 Mol. Benzyl- chlorid in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden Mittels) in Gegenwart von überschüssigem Natriumearbonat vereinigt.
Nach beendeter Kuppelung wird der gebildete Farbstoff ab geschieden und getrocknet.

The dried dye is a dark powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with vivid red, olive-green color in water or sodium carbonate solution and dyes wool in blue-tinged green tones, which when re-chromed turns into a full olive green of excellent milled, pot- ting and very good lightfastness. The coloring has an excellent evening color.
<I> Example: </I> A diazo suspension prepared from 15.4 parts of 1-amino-2-oxy-5-nitrobenzene is mixed with a solution of 32.9 parts of the 1-benzylamino-7-oxynaphthalene-3- sulfonic acid (it can be obtained by reacting 1-amino-7-oxynaphthalene-3-sulfonic acid with 1 mol. Benzyl chloride in the presence of an acid-binding agent) combined in the presence of excess sodium carbonate.
After coupling is complete, the dye formed is separated off and dried.
