Description
Verfahren zur fferstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarb- stoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diazo- tierte 1-Aminobenzol-3-äthylsulfon-6-sulfon- säure mit 1-Benzoylamino-5-oxyiiaphtbalin-7- sulfonsäure gekuppelt wird.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff ist ein wasser lösliches ziegelrotes Pulver Und färbt Wolle und Seide in orangen Tönen von sehr guter Licht- und Seewasserechtheit sowie guter Wasch- und Schweissechtheit. Der Farbstoff besitzt ferner ein gutes Egalisiervermögen. <I>Beispiel:</I> <B>26,5</B> Teile 1-Aminobenzol-3-äthylsulfon- 6-sulforisäure werden in Wasser unter Zu satz von Natriumkarbonat gelöst. Nach Zu gabe der nötigen Menge Natriumnitrit lässt man die Lösung in eine Mischung von Eis und überschüssiger Salzsäure einlaufen.
Die Suspension der so erhaltenen DiazoverbindUDg wird unter Kühlung zu einer mit überschüs- sigem Natriumkarbonat versetzten Lösung von<B>36</B> Teilen 1-Benzoylamiiio-5-oxynaphtha- lin-7-sulfonsäure gegeben. Nach beendeter Kuppelung wird der gebildete Farbstoff ab geschieden und getrocknet.

The dye obtained in this way is a water-soluble brick-red powder and dyes wool and silk in orange shades of very good light and sea water fastness and good fastness to washing and perspiration. The dye also has good leveling power. <I> Example: </I> <B> 26.5 </B> parts of 1-aminobenzene-3-ethylsulfonic-6-sulforic acid are dissolved in water with the addition of sodium carbonate. After adding the necessary amount of sodium nitrite, the solution is allowed to run into a mixture of ice and excess hydrochloric acid.
The suspension of the diazo compound obtained in this way is added, with cooling, to a solution of 36 parts of 1-benzoylamino-5-oxynaphthalin-7-sulfonic acid to which excess sodium carbonate has been added. After coupling is complete, the dye formed is separated off and dried.
