Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eine,, Azo- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB man 5-Nitro-2-am#inophenol diazotiert und mit 1-Ogynaph@thalin- 3 -phenylsulfon- 8 -sul- fonsäure kuppelt.
Der neue Farbstoff, ein dunkles bronzie- rendes Pulver, löst sich in Wasser bleu, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure rot und färbt Wolle naehchromiert in grünstichig blauen Tönen von guter Walk- und Pottingechtheit. Beispiel:
. 15,4 Teile 5-Nitro-2-aminophenol werden mit 7 Teilen Natriumnitrit nach bekannter Methode diazotiert. Die Diazoniumlösung vereinigt man mit einer wässrigen Lösung von 36,4 Teilen 1-OgynaphthaIin-3-phenyl- sulfon-8-sulfonsäure, 4 Teilen Natronlauge 100%ig, 12 Teilen Soda und 100 Teilen Py- ridin. Die Kupplung ist in kurzer Zeit been det.

Process for the preparation of an azo dye. The present patent relates to a process for the preparation of an azo dye, characterized in that 5-nitro-2-aminophenol is diazotized and coupled with 1-ogynaph®thalin-3-phenylsulfonic-8-sulfonic acid.
The new dye, a dark bronzing powder, dissolves in blue water and red in concentrated sulfuric acid and dyes wool after chrome-plated in greenish blue tones of good mill and potting fastness. Example:
. 15.4 parts of 5-nitro-2-aminophenol are diazotized with 7 parts of sodium nitrite by a known method. The diazonium solution is combined with an aqueous solution of 36.4 parts of 1-ogynaphthalene-3-phenylsulfone-8-sulfonic acid, 4 parts of 100% sodium hydroxide solution, 12 parts of soda and 100 parts of pyridine. The clutch is finished in a short time.
