Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Honoazofarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpa tentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines blorioazofarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 2-Amino-l-phenoloctode- cyläther diazotiert und mit 1-Benzoylamino- 8-oxynaphthalin-3,6-disulfonsäure kuppelt. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff färbt Wolle und Seide aus saurem und neutralem Bade in echten, blauroten Tönen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 39,7 Teile 2-Amino-l-phenoloctodecyl- äther-chlorhydrat werden mit 40 Teilen kon zentrierter Salzsäure während einer Stunde verrührt, mit 50 Teilen Eiswasser versetzt und bei 5 mit einer konzentrierten wässrigen Lösung von 7 Teilen Natriumnitrit diazotiert. Die Diazoniumverbindung lässt man zu einer ammoniakalischen Lösung von 42,99 Teilen 1-Benzoylamino-8-oxynaphthalin-3,6-disulfon- säure fliessen. Die Kupplung ist in kurzer Zeit beendet.
Der Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, gepresst und getrocknet. Er bildet ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in heissem Wasser blaurot, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure blau löst.

The diazonium compound is allowed to flow into an ammoniacal solution of 42.99 parts of 1-benzoylamino-8-oxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid. The coupling is completed in a short time.
The dye is filtered off, pressed and dried. It forms a dark powder that dissolves blue-red in hot water and blue in concentrated sulfuric acid.
