Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines Äthers des     Thioammelins.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Äthers des       Thioammelins,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass  man     Thioammelin    in alkalischem Medium  mit einem     Äthylenhalogenid    im molekularen  Verhältnis 2 : 1 behandelt.  



  Der so erhaltene     Di-thioammelin-äthylen-          äther    ist ein farbloses Pulver vom Schmelz  punkt 264   C und ist mit dem von Rathke  durch Erhitzen von     Thioammelin    mit     Äthy-          lenbromid    in alkoholischer Lösung dargestell  ten Produkt (Berichte 20, Seite 1063) nicht  identisch. Er soll als Zwischenprodukt zur  Herstellung von Kunstharzen und Textil  hilfsmitteln Verwendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  143 Teile     Thioammelin    werden in etwa  1800 Teilen Wasser und 240 Teilen Natron  lauge 40       B6    gelöst. Man lässt bei 35 bis  40   C 94 Teile     Athylenbromid    unter starkem  Rühren zufliessen. Nach etwa     zwölfstündiger     Einwirkung ist die Umsetzung beendet.  



  Das Reaktionsprodukt wird abgesaugt,  mit verdünnter Natronlauge gedeckt und mit    Wasser neutral gewaschen. Zwecks Reini  gung wird das     Reaktionsprodulei,    aus 50 %     iger     Essigsäure umkristallisiert, wobei man das  Acetat erhält, aus dem die Base mit wässe  riger     Sodalösung    in Freiheit gesetzt, neutral  gewaschen und getrocknet wird.
