In.
Drive device on devices that have movable elements with two specific end positions, such as shutters for windows and garages, gates, blinds, darkening systems, sliding windows, small goods and food lifts and the like. The subject of the invention is a drive device to devices that have movable elements have two specific end positions, such as shutters for windows and garages, gates, blinds, darkening systems, sliding windows, small goods and dining lifts and the like.
In the case of larger roller shutters with a motor drive, the motor has so far been coupled to the roller of the shop, which must be turned in one direction when lowering the shop and in the other direction when lifting the shop. It was therefore necessary to arrange a reversible drive motor or a mechanical reversing device, whereby a cumbersome and expensive device was obtained.
This disadvantage is circumvented with the drive device according to the invention in that at least one by means of a freewheel gear with a drive member in operative connection be sensitive, constantly in the same sense Umlau Fende, endless chain over two in one of the distance between the two end positions of the movable union Element is guided corresponding distance to ordered chain wheels and has a driver coupled to the element,
which during its movement with one chain link brings the movable element into one of its end positions and during its movement with the other chain link into its other end position.
As a result of the constantly revolving drive chain in the same sense, it is possible to be able to use a motor rotating in one direction without a reversing relay or cumbersome, mechanical reversing devices.
In the accompanying drawings, two embodiments of the subject invention are shown for example. Fig. 1 shows a window opening provided with the device on a roller shutter.

Fig. 1.1 is a horizontal section, corresponding to the line IV-IV of Fig. 1, and represents a plan view of this variant.
FIG. 12 is a horizontal section corresponding to FIG. 11 and shows a further variant of the first embodiment.
Fig. 13 is a horizontal section through the lintel and shows a further modification of the connection of the driver and roller shutter.
1.4 shows a schematic side view and FIG. 15 shows a horizontal section through the lintel with a further variant of the connection between the driver and the roller shutter.
1.6 and 17 show a variant of the carrier carried by the endless chain.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 to 7, 1 denotes the lintel-mounted roller roller on the window, on which see the roller shutter 3 running in lateral guides 2 winds. To compensate for the weight of the roller shutter, the compensation springs used in the usual way are attached to the roller roller. The roller shutter 3 respectively. the movable element is provided with a lower end rail 4, on the two Be th extension pieces 5 are attached, each having a longitudinal slot 6.
A driver roller 7 engages in each of these longitudinal slots 6 and is carried by an endless chain 8 arranged vertically and which runs over a lower chain wheel 9 and an upper chain wheel 10. Each upper sprocket is mounted on an axle which is carried in a bearing 11 arranged on the window wall, and to which another chain wheel 12 is attached, over which a horizontal, endless chain 13 runs. Each lower sprocket 9 is wedged on an axle 14, of which another sprocket 15 respectively. 15 'with the interposition of a freewheel gear 16 is worn.
The chain wheel 15 is connected via an endless chain 17 to a chain wheel 18 which can be driven via a reduction gear by an electric motor 19 which is carried by the window walls. The chain wheel 15 'is connected via an endless chain 20 to a chain wheel 21 which can be set in rotation by a hand crank 22. The axles 14 of the lower chain wheels 9, 15 and 15 'are carried in a bearing which has a part 23 adjustable in the vertical direction and a fixed part 24. An adjusting screw 25 allows the movable part to be moved in order to adjust the tension of the chains 8, 17 and 20.
The two freewheel gears 16 are set up so that when the chains 8 causing the adjustment of the roller shutter are driven by the motor 19, the wheel 15 'and the chain 20 of the crank drive are not set in motion, and vice versa with manual drive with means of the crank 22 the wheel 15 and the chain 17 of the motor drive not driven who the.
At the end of one of the extensions 5 of the roller shutter rail 4, a switching arm 26 is fastened, which in the uppermost position of the rail 4 when the shop is rolled up with a power switch 27 and in the lowest position of the rail, when the shop is closed, interacts with a power switch 28. The two power switches are attached to the window walls. Each of the switches be available, as shown in Fig. 6, from a housing 29 in which a guide rod 30 is arranged, and along which a sleeve cl can slide, which penetrates through the housing and one in the path of the switching arm 26 to the rail 4 gripping roller 32 carries.
A spring 33 presses the sleeve 31 into its outermost position, in which a collar 34 rests on the sleeve against the housing. In this position of the sleeve, two contact arms 35 rotatably carried by it are applied under the influence of a tension spring 36 connecting them against two contacts 37 in the circuit of the motor and these contacts are conductively connected to one another.
When the roller shutter rail 4 reaches its uppermost or lowermost position, the switching arm presses against the roller 32 and moves the sleeve 31 inwardly in the housing 29 against the action of the return spring 33, so that the two contact arms 35 move away from the contacts 37 to the left in FIG 6 ge, and as soon as the spring 36 gets beyond the axis of rotation of the arms, it pulls the arms off the contacts 37 with a rapid movement and places them against two stops 38, so that the electrical circuit at the contacts is interrupted .
A manual switch 39 arranged on the window run or outside the room to be closed is used to start the motor 19. The circuit diagram of the drive device is shown in FIG. One of the conductors 39 of a power system is connected to the movable member of the manual switch 39 a related party, which is in the switched-off position in the position shown, and wel Ches can connect the one power line to the conductor 40 or the conductor 41. The Lei ter 40 leads to one of the contacts 37 of the lower automatic switch 28, which in the closed position connects the conductor 40 to the motor 19, which is connected to the other line conductor 39 via the Lei device 42 ver.
The conductor 41 leads to one of the contacts 37 of the upper automatic switch 27, which connects the conductor 41 to the motor in the closed position. The motor 19 always rotates in the same direction, be it to lower or to raise the roller shutter.
When the shutter is fully open, the rail 4 is in its uppermost position, and its arm 26 has moved the automatic switch 27 into the off position. The lower switch 28 is ever held by its spring 33 in the engaged position. If the roller shutter is to be lowered, the movable contact of the manual switch 39 is verbun with the conductor 40 the. The motor 19 is then supplied with current via the un tern automatic switch 28 and begins to rotate.
The rotation of the motor is transmitted from the drive wheel 18 via the chain 17 to the wheel 15, which drives the chain wheel 9 via the freewheel gear 16. This sets the left chain 8 in motion, which drives the horizontal chain 13 via the wheels 10 and 12, which in turn sets the right chain 8 in motion. This chain 8 rotates its lower sprocket 9, but due to the arrangement of the freewheel gear 16, the rotational movement can not be transmitted to the wheel 15 'and the chain 20 connected to the hand crank who the. The direction of rotation of the motor is such that the chains 8 move in the direction of the arrows drawn in.
The two drivers 7 move downwards and as a result of their engagement in the slots 6 of the rail 4, they pull the roller shutter downwards. "When the rail 4 reaches its lowest position on the window sill, its arm 26 switches the lower switch 28 off , the circuit of the motor is interrupted and the drive chains stand still. When the downward movement of the roller shutter begins, the switching arm 26 has released the upper switch 27 so that this switch is now engaged.
If the roller is to be opened again, the movable contact of the hand switch 39 is now connected to the conductor 41, and the motor continues to rotate in the same direction. The driver rollers 7, which were on the right chain end of the chains 8 and on the right side of the slot 6 in the rail 4 during the downward movement of the store (FIG. 1), move to the left in the slots when the driver 7 runs around the rollers 9 (Fig. 5) and then push the store up until the rail 4 returns to its uppermost position and its arm 26 disengages the scarf ter 2 7 and turns off the engine.
It is of course possible to stop the roller shutter at any point in its stroke by switching off the motor by means of the manual switch 39.
When the motor is switched off, the roller shutter can be driven by hand by means of the crank drive 22. In this case, the freewheel gear 16 arranged inside the wheel body of the wheel 15 has the effect that the chain 17 of the motor drive is not set in motion.
It can be seen that in the drive described, the chains 8 connected to the roller shutter always rotate in the same direction, namely for the downward movement as well as for the upward movement of the roller shutter. So if the roller shutter is stopped in an intermediate position during its downward movement, and it is then to be opened again, and the motor is turned on, or the cure belantrieb is operated, the shop is first completely closed and then only opened when the driver of the Chains 8 pull the shutter down and turn in the lowest position around the chain wheel 9, which is made possible for them through the slot 6, and then push the shutter upwards.
Conversely, if the shop is stopped in an intermediate position during its upward movement and it is to be closed again afterwards, it must first be fully opened by the carriers 9 first moving upwards with the left-hand side of the chains 8 and in the uppermost position of the shop turn around the sprockets 10 and then move down again with the right chain strand.
This small additional expenditure of time and energy to open or close the shop in certain cases is insignificant besides the great advantage of the possibility of using a motor rotating in one direction only, or the absence of any complicated, mechanical switching device is achieved.
If the manual switch 39 is switched on and the store is in its uppermost or lowermost position, the motor circuit is therefore interrupted by one of the automatic switches, and the crank drive is used for the subsequent adjustment of the crank drive, the motor is switched on again as soon as the switching arm 26 is given by him released switch. However, this activation has no effect on the hand crank, since the motor drive cannot be transmitted to the crank due to the freewheel gear on wheel 15 '. So there is no danger, even if the motor is switched on during the manual drive, because the possibly faster drive only acts on the roller shutter and not on the crank drive.
In the event that the motor drive and the hand crank drive would fail at the same time, the roller shutter can be operated by pushing it open or pulling it down by hand, for example, by means of known handles attached to the end rail Shop window shutters.
The Ausfüh shown in Fig. 8 and 9 approximately form the drive device is used to raise and lower the overhead door of a garage entrance. The motor 19, which rotates in one direction only, drives the lower wheel 58 of a chain 51 via the chain 50 and a freewheel mechanism, which carries the driver 7, which engages in a slot 52 of a rail 55 attached to the balance weight 53 of the gate 54. This rail 55 carries the switching arm 26, which interacts with the rollers 82 of the upper and lower automatic scarf age 27 and 28. The balance 53 is suspended from the gate 54 by means of the rope 57 running over the roller 56.
As in the first example, the hand crank 22 drives the lower wheel 58 via a freewheel gear so that the manual drive is not influenced when the motor is driven, and the chain 50 is not influenced when the manual drive is used.
The operation of this device is the same as in the example previously described. If the motor is switched on, the balance weight moves in one direction or the other until the switching arm 26 switches off one of the switches 27 or 28 at the end of the stroke of the weight and interrupts the circuit. If the circuit is switched on again by switching the manual switch, the driver 7 rotates around the lower or upper sprocket of the chain 51 while simultaneously shifting in the slot 52 of the rail 55, and the counterweight shifts in the other sense. Depending on the direction of displacement of the weight, the gate 54 is raised or lowered by means of the rope 57.
It is of course possible to provide the overhead garage door with a drive device in the manner of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, that is to say to connect the driver of the endless drive chain directly to the door itself. In the same way as in Fig. 1, a chain carrying a driver could be arranged along the vertical Füh tion of the gate on both sides of the entrance, with the driver of each chain corresponding to the side edge of the gate at point a (Fig . 8) would be coupled.
The two endless chains would be connected to each other and to the manual and motor drive through a transmission arranged at the top of the door opening.
The two endless drive chains could also be arranged along the upper, approximately horizontal guide of the gate, and the driver of each chain would then be connected to the gate at the upper end of the two side edges of the gate, at point b (Fig. 8) . In this case, the two chains can expediently be connected to one another and to the drive at their inner ends with a transmission.
It is possible to arrange the manual switch of the drive motor for the garage door at any point. For example, it can be located at the entrance to the garage at some distance from the gate, so that the driver can turn on the switch from the car, whereupon the gate opens and entry into the garage is made possible without leaving the car to open the gate .
Instead of the automatically acting electrical limit switches shown, other mechanical limit switches of known type could also be used.
In the variant according to FIGS. 10 and 11, the carrier 7 carried by the endless chain 8 engages in a slot 6 which is seen immediacy bar in the end rail 4 of the roller shutter. The chain transmissions are encapsulated on both sides of the window opening in a protective housing consisting of two plates 60 and 61, between which an opening is provided through which the end rail penetrates and which also serves as a guide for the roller shutter.
In the example according to FIG. 12, the slave 7 also penetrates into a slot provided directly on the end rail 4 of the roller shutter. The chain wheel 9 with the motor-driven chain and the bearing 23 is enclosed in a metal encapsulation 62, while the chain wheel 15 'with the chain leading to the hand crank lies outside the encapsulation.
In. Fig. 13 engages the driver 7 in the slot 6 of a plate 63 which is attached to the end of the end rail 4 and arranged transversely to this. Instead of the upper chain transmission 13, a shaft transmission can be used, so that the chain wheels 12 in FIGS. 2 and 3 can be replaced by gears 64 which are connected to gears 6 7 at the end of the transmission shaft 66 in FIG Engagement stand.
In the example of FIGS. 14 and 15 is. the axis of the sprocket 10 in the extension tion of the end rail 4 of the roller shutter 3 to be ordered and the driver 7 engages in the slot 6 of a transverse to the end rail he stretching and at the outer end be fixed plate 65. The drive of the chain wheels 10 takes place Via a shaft transmission 66, the wheel 67 of which meshes with the wheel 64 on the axle of the wheel 10.
According to FIGS. 16 and 17, the carrier 68 carried by the endless chain 8 is designed as a lever which is rotatably attached to the end rail 4 of the roller shutter, in the middle between the downward running and the upward running chain strand. The length of the lever corresponds to the radius of the Ket tenräder, and when the end rail 4, as shown for example in Fig. 17, reaches the lowest or highest position, the pivot point of the lever 68 comes to lie in the axis of the chain wheel.
The end rail then remains in place, while the continuing with the chain with slave lever 68 rotates around its axis until a pulling action is exerted on the lever axis again from the ascending chain strand, whereby the end rail 4 and the store are pushed up. In this version, a stop must be provided at the upper end of the stroke of the store, wel cher stops the end rail in exactly that position in which the axis of the sprocket coincides with the pivot point of the lever.
The force acting on the lever 68 from the chain seeks to rotate the lever and causes the chain to be pulled inward slightly at the point of application of the lever, as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, whereby the chain is tensioned becomes.
The drive device shown can also be used on sliding windows and smaller goods and dining lifts, e.g. B. in hotels and restaurants. When used with sliding windows, the carrier carried by the chain is coupled with the counterbalance. In the case of elevators, the driver can be coupled with the counterweight or directly with the elevator car.
