La boîte représentée comporte trois pièces: une lunette 1, une carrure 2 et un fond 3. La lunette 1, munie -d'une glace 4 fixée à cran de façon étanche, est un cylindre relati- vem-ent haut dont l'extrémité inférieure est munie d'un filetage extérieur 5 et dont l'ex trémité supérieure présente un petit épaule- ment extérieur 6.
La carrure 2 dont la forme extérieure peut être quelconque présente un épaulement supérieur interne 7 et un épaule ment inférieur interne 8 plus large que le premier. Le corps de la carrure s'étendant entre les épaulements 7 et 8 @a une hauteur sensiblement égale à la partie non filetée de la lunette sur laquelle elle vient s'ajuster.
Le fond 3 comporte un rebord cylindrique muni intérieurement d'un taraudage 9 cor respondant au filetage 5 de la lunette et dont le diamètre -extérieur est sensiblement égal au diamètre intérieur de la partie inférieure de la eamure au-dessous de l'épaulement 8, dans laquelle il vient s'ajuster.
Pour l'assemblage, la carrure 2 vient s'a juster sur la lunette 1, l'épaulement 7 .de la carrure prenant appui sur l'épaulement 6 de la lunette et le filetage 5 de celle-ci dépas sant la carrure vers. le bas.
Le fond 3 est -en suite vissé sur ce filetage, la partie supérieure de son rebord venant s'ajuster dans<B>19,</B> partie inférieure de la carrure. Un paquetage 10 en matière plastique est logé dans le fond, c'est-à-dire à l'intérieur du rebord du fond, et coopère avec l'extrémité inférieure de la lunette 1 pour assurer l'étanchéité -de l'a.s- semblage fond-lunette.
