Boîte de montre. L'objet de la présente invention est une boîte de montre dite "boîte vision<B>",</B> c'est-à- dire qui est ronde, mais dont la partie en tourant le verre est de forme, dans le but de donner l'illusion que toute la boîte est de forme. Dans les boîtes de montre "vision4c habituelles, la partie entourant le verre est constituée par une couronne plane dont le pourtour extérieur est de forme et qui pré sente une ouverture intérieure pour recevoir le verre.
Conformément à la présente inven tion, au contraire, la partie entourant le verre comprend un filet extérieur, de forme, et une zone intérieure, en retrait par rapport au filet, et percée d'une ouverture ronde pour le verre.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple; deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan et la fig. 2 une coupe par II-II de la fig. 1 de la première forme d'exécution La fig. 3 est une vue en plan et la fig. 4 une coupe par IV-IV de fig. 3 de la deuxième forme d'exécution.
Dans la première forme d'exécution, la partie qui entoure le verre est formée d'un filet extérieur octogonal 1, et d'une zone in térieure 2, en retrait par rapport au filet, et percée d'une ouverture ronde 3, dans laquelle le verre se fixe à la façon habituelle. Le filet octogonal, grâce au fait qu'il est en relief sur la zone 2, attire spécialement l'attention et fait que l'oeil néglige la zone 2. Cet effet contribue à augmenter l'impression que la montre tout entière est octogonale et donne également l'impression que le verre lui-même est octogonal et que la partie entourant ce verre est très étroite. Au dessin, la section droite du filet est carrée; elle pourrait aussi être ronde ou d'une autre forme.
La deuxième forme d'exécution est sem blable à la précédente avec cette seule diffé- renoe que le filet 4 a une forme plus com- pliquée. Il est constitué par six grands côtés 5 légèrement courbés; raccordés par des par ties 6 plus petites en forme d'accent circon flexe.
Dans les deux formes d'exécution sus- décrites, la zone intérieure, en retrait par rapport au filet, est venue d'une pièce avec le filet, mais rien n'empêcherait qu'on l'y soude après coup.
Watch box. Fig. 1 is a plan view and FIG. 2 a section through II-II of FIG. 1 of the first embodiment. FIG. 3 is a plan view and FIG. 4 a section through IV-IV of fig. 3 of the second embodiment.
In the first embodiment, the part which surrounds the glass is formed of an octagonal external thread 1, and an interior zone 2, set back with respect to the thread, and pierced with a round opening 3, in which the glass attaches in the usual way. The octagonal thread, thanks to the fact that it is in relief on zone 2, attracts special attention and causes the eye to neglect zone 2. This effect contributes to increasing the impression that the entire watch is octagonal and also gives the impression that the glass itself is octagonal and the part surrounding this glass is very narrow. In the drawing, the cross section of the net is square; it could also be round or some other shape.
The second embodiment is similar to the previous one with the only difference that the thread 4 has a more complicated shape. It consists of six large sides 5 slightly curved; connected by 6 smaller parts in the shape of a circumflex accent.
In the two embodiments described above, the interior zone, set back with respect to the thread, is formed integrally with the thread, but nothing would prevent it from being welded thereto afterwards.
