Le poussoir, représenté aux fig. 1 et 2, comprend une tige 1 portant, à son extrémité extérieure, le bouton du chronographe 2 et pouvant coulisser dans une pièce de guidage 3. Cette tige est munie, à son extrémité inté rieure, d'une vis 4. La pièce de guidage est formée d'une base cintrée<B>3.</B> portant à ses deux extrémités des talons 3b.
Un ressort à boudin 5 est enroulé autour de la tige 1 et prend appui, d'une part, sur la pièce de guidage et, d'autre part, sur le bouton du poussoir.
Lorsque le poussoir est en place, comme montré aux fig. 1 et 2, les talons 3b de la pièce de guidage appuient contre le fond de la carrure g, tandis que le mouvement B appuie contre la face interne de la base cin trée 3a. Le bouton du poussoir est engagé dans une ouverture de la carrure et est guidé axialement par cette dernière et par la plaque de guidage 3.
