Boîte de montre. L'objet de la présente invention est une boîte de montre formée d'au moins deux par ties entre lesquelles est disposé un joint étan che. Cette boîte est caractérisée par un dispo sitif élastique serrant constamment ces deux parties entre elles, de façon à exercer une pression sur le joint susmentionné.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention ainsi qu'une variante.
Les fig. 1, 2 et 3 se rapportent à la pre mière forme d'exécution constituée par une boite de montre-bracelet; la fig. 1 en est une vue en plan, la fig. 2 est une coupe par II -II de fig. 1; la fig. 3 en est une vue en élévation latérale, l'anse supposée enlevée.
Les fig. 4 et 5 se rapportent à la deuxième forme d'exé cution également constituée par une boîte de montre-bracelet; la fig. 4 en est une vue en élévation latérale, l'anse supposée enlevée; la fig. 5 est une coupe par V-V de fig. 4;
la fig. 6 est une vue en .élévation latérale, l'anse supposée enlevée, de la variante. La boîte de montre représentée aux fig. 1 à 3 comprend un corps de boîte 1, constituée par une carrure-lunette et un fond 2, entre lesquels est disposé un joint étanche formé par une saillie annulaire 3 que porte le corps de boite et par une rainure circulaire 4,
à section droite en queue d'aronde dont le fond est garni d'une substance élastique 5 et dans laquelle pénètre la saillie 3.
A l'extérieur de la boîte et sur les côtés de celle-ci faisant face aux anses, sont dispo sés deux ressorts 6; chacun d'eux est figé, par des vis 7, au corps de la boîte et présente deux languettes 8 qui viennent s'appliquer contre un plan incliné 9 que présente le fond.
L'effet de ces ressorts est de serrer fortement le fond contre le corps de boîte et d'exercer une pres- sion; entre les deux parties du joint élastique susmentionné, ce qui a pour effet de rendre la boîte complètement étanche.
Dans la forme d'exécution des fig. 4 et 5, le ressort 13 est fixé à la carrure-lunette 1 par deux vis 14. Il présente une languette l5, dont l'extrémité est recourbée et pénètre dans une encoche 16 du fond.
Dans la variante de fig. 6, chacun des res sorts 6 est remplacé par un ressort 10 en forme d'anneau fixé en deux points 11 et 12 au corps de boîte et au fond.
Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée à ce qui est représenté au dessin. La boîte pourrait être formée d'un fond-carrure et d'une lunette, ces deux pièces assemblées comme décrit ci-dessus, ou d'une carrure, d'un fond et d'une lunette, ces trois pièces réunies deux à deux, comme décrit ci-dessus. Dans les montres comprenant deux boîtes disposées l'une dans l'autre, l'invention est applicable aux deux boîtes ou à d'une d'entre elles et, alors, à la boîte intérieure, aussi bien qu'à la boîte extérieure.
Enfin, le dispositif élastique, serrant en semble les différentes parties de la boîte, pour rait être disposé à l'intérieur de cette dernière.

The watch case shown in Figs. 1 to 3 comprises a case body 1, constituted by a caseband-bezel and a back 2, between which is disposed a tight seal formed by an annular projection 3 carried by the case body and by a circular groove 4,
with a straight dovetail section, the bottom of which is lined with an elastic substance 5 and into which the projection 3 penetrates.
On the outside of the box and on the sides thereof facing the handles, two springs 6 are arranged; each of them is fixed, by screws 7, to the body of the box and has two tabs 8 which come to rest against an inclined plane 9 presented by the bottom.
The effect of these springs is to tighten the bottom strongly against the gearbox body and to exert pressure; between the two parts of the aforementioned elastic seal, which has the effect of making the box completely waterproof.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5, the spring 13 is fixed to the caseband-bezel 1 by two screws 14. It has a tongue 15, the end of which is curved and enters a notch 16 in the bottom.
In the variant of fig. 6, each of the spells 6 is replaced by a spring 10 in the form of a ring fixed at two points 11 and 12 to the box body and to the bottom.
Of course, the invention is not limited to what is shown in the drawing. The case could be formed of a caseback and a bezel, these two parts assembled as described above, or of a caseband, a caseback and a bezel, these three parts joined together two by two. , as described above. In watches comprising two boxes arranged one inside the other, the invention is applicable to the two boxes or to one of them and, therefore, to the inner box, as well as to the outer box.
Finally, the elastic device, seemingly clamping the different parts of the box, could be placed inside the latter.
