Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer     wasserlöslielien    Verbindung der aromatischen Reihe.    Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes ist ein Verfahren zur     Darstellung     des     Natronsalzes    der     ms-Octodecyl-benzyl-          diphenylketonsulfonsäure,    das man durch       Sulfonierung    des     ms-Octodeeyl-benzyl-diphe-          nylketons    der Formel

    und Neutralisierung der entstandenen     'Sul-          fonsäure    erhält.  



  Die neue Verbindung wird als helles Pul  ver erhalten, das in Wasser sehr leicht lös  lich     ist    und dessen Lösungen     Kalkseife    sehr  gut     emulgieren.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  In 40 Teile Monohydrat werden unter  Rühren bei 10-20' C 20     Teile        ms-Octodecyl-          benzyl-diphenylketon    eingetragen,     .darauf     langsam bei 0 bis 5   C 20 Teile     Oleum     (26%ig) und nachher bei 0 bis<B>-5'</B> C  20 Teile     Oleum    (66%ig)     zugetropft.    Nach  sechsstündigem Rühren unter 10   C erweist  sich     eine    in Wasser gegebene Probe voll  ständig löslich.

   Sobald dies der Fall ist,    wird die     Reaktionsmasse    auf     Eis    gegossen  und die     entstandene    Lösung durch Zusatz  von Natronlauge     neutralisiert.    Durch Ein  dampfen gewinnt man das     Natronsalz    als  helles Pulver,     das    in Wasser sehr     leicht    lös  lich ist und dessen Lösungen Kalkseife sehr  gut     emulgieren.
