Auslasslmnäle a, und a_. Die beiden Auslasskanäle a,, a., münden einander an nähernd gegenüber in der zur Zylinderachse normalen Ebene schräg in den Zylinder und sind geben die Mitte des Spülkanals b3 ge richtet,
der auf der einen Seite des Zylinders zwischen den beiden Auslasskanälen in spit zem Winkel zur Zylinderachse in den Zy linder mündet. Die beiden andern Spül kanäle sind auf der andern Seite des Zy linders zwischen den beiden Auslasska.nälen angeordnet und münden senkrecht zur Zy linderachse gegen die -litte des Spülkanals b., berichtet in den Zylinder, so dass sich die Spülströme beim Spülkanal b;
Two-stroke combustion engine with scavenging channels arranged between exhaust channels in the same cylinder zone. The invention relates to a two-stroke internal combustion engine with .spülkanäle arranged between exhaust ports in the same cylinder zone,
whose partial flushing flows combine to form a resultant flushing flow flowing along the cylinder wall along g - e towards the cylinder head. According to the invention, the outlet ducts are arranged at two points on the cylinder circumference and, in the plane normal to the cylinder axis, are directed obliquely to the same cylinder axis.
At least one flushing channel is arranged on each side between these two points and each flushing channel on one side opens at an acute angle and each flushing channel opens into the cylinder on the other perpendicular to the cylinder axis.
The scavenging flows entering perpendicular to the cylinder axis cool the piston base well and expel the residual exhaust gas present there, while the scavenging flow entering at an acute angle to the cylinder axis deflects the scavenging flows flowing in perpendicular to the cylinder axis towards the cylinder head so that the resulting scavenging flow has a high level of stability, which is not impaired by minor inaccuracies that may arise when the channels are cast.
The distribution of the flushing and exhaust ducts on the cylinder circumference prevents an asymmetrical temperature distribution in the cylinder wall, so that the cylinder remains practically round even during operation and perfect operation is ensured at all speeds and loads.
If several flushing channels are provided that are perpendicular to the cylinder axis, they can either run parallel to one another or they can be inclined to one another in the plane perpendicular to the cylinder axis, so that their axes meet at a point near the cylinder wall.
In the case of an explosion engine according to the invention which works with liquid fuel, the fuel is advantageously injected into the scavenging flow entering at an acute angle to the cylinder axis at the beginning of the compression stroke within the scavenging channel.
The drawing shows vertical machines as exemplary embodiments of the invention. The Fi-. 1 and? draw a: two-stroke: machine im. Longitudinal section resp. Cross section through the flushing and outlet channels, the former along line 1-I in FIG. 3.
The cylinder has three flushing channels hl, L and b .; and two. Outlet ports a, and a_. The two outlet ducts a ,, a., Open towards each other at almost opposite in the plane normal to the cylinder axis obliquely into the cylinder and are directed to give the center of the flushing duct b3,
which opens into the cylinder on one side of the cylinder between the two exhaust ports at an acute angle to the cylinder axis. The other two flushing channels are arranged on the other side of the cylinder between the two Auslasska.nälen and open perpendicular to the cylinder axis towards the middle of the flushing channel b., Reported into the cylinder, so that the flushing flows at the flushing channel b;
unite to then flow to the cylinder head ci 'zrr. After Fit. 3 two flushing channels b: "b; are provided, which open into the cylinder at an acute angle to the cylinder axis, as is the case with the 21lascliine according to FIG. U> are parallel to each other.
In the machine according to Fig.: 5 and 12, a section along the line II-11 in Fig. 5 shows, only one flushing channel is provided which opens perpendicular to the cylinder axis in the cylinder. there are on the other side of the cylinder where the resulting current. quiver the cylinder head flows, two flushing channels b_, b., provided, which open into the cylinder at an acute angle to the cylinder axis and are directed against each other.
According to Fig. (> Are the scavenging channels b,;. br, through which the scavenging air enters at an acute angle, q. d in the middle of the Cylinder side -e rielitet on which they are arranged.
The fib. 7 and 8 show a Ma.seliine corresponding to FIG. 5, in which, however, the approximately opposite and in the plane normal to the cylinder axis, opening obliquely into the cylinder wall outlet channels a "(1_ na.cli that cylinder side be directed where the resulting flow flows to the cylinder head.
Analogous to the Masehinei according to Fib. 9 to 11, which in addition to the machines beniül @ deii F'ib. 2 resp. 3 and 1- correspond.
In the fibureri a flat or a convex piston is shown; It goes without saying that recesses or other such.
B. raised, guide surfaces for individual flushing channels to improve the filling and flushing flows.
The invention can be used both with @ e-iniscli ansa., I-ending machines, as well as with internal combustion engines with injection of flüs @ i @, em fuel before, during or at the end of the compression stroke.
If fuel is injected before the compression stroke of the piston or for the first part of this movement, the best way to do this is to look at the scavenging duct, the wall along which the resulting flow to the cylinder head flows.
because its flushing drift is kept away from the outlet by the other flushing flows.
It is irrelevant for the invention whether the detergent is conveyed by a vacuum chamber pump or a single charge pump.
