Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von 3-Nitro-4-dodecylanilin. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von 3-Nitro-4- dodecylanilin, welches da.durcb .gekennzeich net ist, class man p-Dodecylanilin nitriert. Die N itrierung kann zum Beispiel durch Behand lung mit einem Gemisch von Salpeter- und Schwefelsäure ausgeführt werden.
3-Nitro-4-dodecylanilin ist eine neue Ver bindung, eine orangefarbige kristallinische Substanz mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 68 C. Sie stellt ein wertvolles Farbstoffzwischen- produkt dar.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 52 Teile p-Dodecylanilin werden in 1=870 Teilen einer 99 %igen Schwefelsäure gelöst, die Lösung wird auf 0 bis 2 C gekühlt.
Ein Gemisch von 14 Teilen 92%iger Salpeter säure und 40 Teilen 99 %iger Schwefelsäure wird unter 5 C nach und, nach zugesetzt, die Temperatur wird während zwei Stunden auf 5 C gehalten, das Gemisch auf Eis gegossen, mit Wasser gewaschen und mit Salmiak be- handelt, filtriert,
mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet.
