  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Polymethinfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand dieses     Zusatzpatentes    ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Polymethin-          farbstoffes,    welches dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass man     1,3,3-Trimethylindolin-2-methy-          len-co-aldehyd    mit     2,3-Dihydro-2-phenylindol     unter Einwirkung von     Oleum    kondensiert,  wobei gleichzeitig     Sulfonierung    erfolgt.

           Beispiel:     12,0 Gewichtsteile     1,3;3-Trimethylindolin-          2-methylen-co-aldehyd    und 12,0 Gewichts  teile     Dihydro-2-phenylindol    werden in  100,0 Gewichtsteile     Oleum    20% bei     Zimmer-          temperatureingetragen    und zirka zehn Stun  den nachgerührt. Dann wird auf Eis ge  gossen und der gebildete Farbstoff, wahr  scheinlich eine     Trisulfosäure,    in üblicher  Weise in das     Natriumsalz    übergeführt.
