  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 198138.    Verfahren zur     Herstellung    eines neuen     Azofarbstofes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man auf     4-Oxy-          1.        1'-diphenyl        diazotierte        4-Amino-1.        1'-azo-          benzol-3.        4'-disulfonsäure    einwirken lässt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel  braunes Pulver dar, das Wolle in braun  stichiggelben Tönen färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  40,1 Teile des     Natriumsalzes    der     4-Amino-          1.1'-azobenzol-3    .     4'-disulfonsäure    werden wie  üblich     diazotiert.    Die entstehende Lösung der       diazotierten        4-Amino-1.1'-azobenzol-3.4'-          disulfonsäure    lässt man     einfliessen    in eine Lö  sung von 17 Teilen     4-0$y-1.        1'-diphenyl        in     25     Teilen    einer 30%igen     Natriumhydroxyd-          lösung,

      10 Teilen     Natriumcarbonat    und 300    Teilen Wasser. Es findet     Kupplung    statt.  Man rührt über Nacht, filtriert und dampft  zur Trockne     ein.    Man erhält den Farbstoff  als     dunkelbraunes    Pulver.

Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel braunes Pulver dar, das Wolle in braun stichiggelben Tönen färbt.
