  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 198138.         Verfahren    zur     Herstellung        eines    neuen     Azofarbstoffes:       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man auf     4-Oxy-          1.1'-diphenyl        diazotierte        4-Amino-3.2'-di-          methyl-1    .     1'-azobenzol-4'-sulfonsäure    einwir  ken lässt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel  braunes Pulver dar, das Wolle in orange  braunen Tönen färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  32,7 Teile des     Natriumsalzes    der     4-          Amino    - 3 . 2'-     dimethyl-1    . 1-     azobenzol-4'-.sul-          fonsäure    werden wie üblich     diazotiert.    Die  entstehende Suspension der     diazotierten        4-          Amino    - 3 . 2'-     dimethyl-1    . 1'-     azobenzol-4'-sul-          fonsäure    lässt man einfliessen     in    eine Lösung  von 17 Teilen     4-Oxy-1    .

       1'-diphenyl    in 25  Teilen einer 30 %     igen    Natriumhydroxyd-         lösung,    10 Teilen     Natriumcarbonat        und    300       Teilen    Wasser. Es findet     Kupplung    statt       und    nach     einiger    Zeit Bildung eines braunen  Niederschlages. Man rührt über Nacht, er  wärmt dann zur Lösung, filtriert und salzt  mit 2055 Kochsalz     aus.

       1'-diphenyl in 25 parts of a 30% strength sodium hydroxide solution, 10 parts of sodium carbonate and 300 parts of water. Coupling takes place and, after some time, a brown precipitate forms. The mixture is stirred overnight, it is then warmed to a solution, filtered and salted out with 2055 common salt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf 4-Oxy-1. 1'-diphenyl diazotierte 4- Amino - 3 . 2'- dimethyl-1 . 1'-azobenzol-4'-sul- fonsäure einwirken lässt. Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel braunes Pulver dar, das Wolle in orange braunen Tönen färbt.
