Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen Farb  stoff erhält, wenn man     diazotierte        Sulfanil-          säure    mit     5-Oxy-l-phenyl-4'-methyl-azimido-          benzol    vereinigt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotes Pul  ver und färbt Wolle scharlachrot.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  17,3 Teile     Sulfaniisäure    werden wie üb  lich     diazotiert    und einer alkalischen Lösung  von 22,5 Teilen     5-Oxy-l-phenyl-4'-methyl-a7i-          midobenzol    langsam zugegeben.     Es    bildet  sich     sofort    ein     scharlachroter    Farbstoff, der    sich ausscheidet. Die Ausscheidung kann  gegebenenfalls durch     Kochsalzzusatz        ver-          volls.tändigt    werden.

  The new dye forms a red powder and dyes wool scarlet red.



  <I> Example: </I> 17.3 parts of sulfaniic acid are diazotized as usual and slowly added to an alkaline solution of 22.5 parts of 5-oxy-1-phenyl-4'-methyl-a7imidobenzene. A scarlet-red dye forms immediately and is separated out. The excretion can, if necessary, be completed by adding table salt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man .diazotierte Sulfanilsäure mit 5-Oxy-1- phenyl-4'-methyl-azimidobenzol vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotes Pul ver und färbt Wolle scharlachrot.
