Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes der Anthraehinonreihe. Das Hauptpatent betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes der An- thrachinonreihe, bei dem der 1. 4-Di-p-tolui- dinoanthrachinon - \? - carbonsäuremethylester so lange mit einem sulfonierend wirkenden Mittel behandelt wird, bis eine aufgearbeitete Probe völlig wasserlöslich geworden ist.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man einen ähnlich wertvollen Farbstoff der Anthrachi- norreihe erhalten kann, wenn man den 1. 4 Di-p-cyclohexylanilino-anthrachinon-6-car- bonsäuremethylester so lange mit einem sul- fonierend wirkenden Mittel behandelt, bis eine aufgearbeitete Probe völlig wasserlös lich geworden ist.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff färbt Wolle aus schwach saurem Bade in klaren grünen Tö nen von ausgezeichneten Echtheitseigen schaften.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Teile 1.4-Di-p-cyclohexylanilino-an- thrachinon-6-carbonsäuremethylester (berge- stellt zum Beispiel durch Erhitzen des 1. 4- Dichloranthrachinon - 6 - carbonsäuremethyl - esters mit p-Cyclohexylanilin bei Gegenwart von "wasserfreiem Kaliumacetat und wenig Kupferacetat auf 140 bis 145 C) werden bei etwa 5 C in 150 Teilen rauchender Schwefelsäure, enthaltend<B>10%</B> S03, gelöst.
