Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man einen wert  vollen     Farbstoff    erhält, wenn man     1-Arnino-          4-(p-tolrridino)-anthrachinon-2-kar-bonamid    so       lange    mit     einem    sulfonierend wirkenden Mit  tel behandelt, bis das Reaktionsprodukt eben  völlig wasserlöslich geworden ist.  



  Der erhaltene     Farbstoff,    eine     Sulfonsäure     des     1-Amirro-4-(p-toluidir)o)-arrthrachirron-2-          karbonamids,    färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade  in klaren blauen Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  10 Teile     1-Amino-4-(p-toluidirro)-arrthra-          chirron-2-karbonamid,    hergestellt z. B. durch  Erhitzen von     1-Amino-4-br-omanthrachinon-2-          karbonarnid        rnit        p-Toluidin    auf<B>1300</B> C, wer  den in 100 Teilen     Schwefelsäuremonohydrat     gelöst, worauf zu der Lösung bei Zimmer  temperatur so lange rauchende Schwefelsäure,       enthaltend        2.3%        S03,        zugegeben        wird,

          bis     eine entnommene und aufgearbeitete Probe  erkennen lässt, dass das Reaktionsprodukt eben    völlig wasserlöslich geworden ist. Man giesst  sodann das Reaktionsgemisch in Eiswasser  und salzt die     entstandene        Sulfonsäure    in der  üblichen Weise aus.
