Description
Process for the production of a condensation product. The main patent relates to a process for producing a condensation product, which is characterized in that a peptide mixture obtained by breaking down protein substances is reacted with the mixture of chlorocarbonic acid esters of the alcohol mixture, which can be obtained by reducing palm kernel fatty acid.
The present patent is now a process for the production of a condensation product, characterized in that an identical peptide mixture is implemented with the chlorocarbonic acid ester of oleyl alcohol. The product obtainable in this way can, for example, serve as a wetting agent, detergent and dispersant and is particularly suitable as a leveling agent in dyeing.
Example 1: 125 parts of glue are digested with the addition of 20 cms of 20% sulfuric acid for 6 hours at a temperature of 115-1200,
neutralized with sodium hydroxide solution and adjusts the reaction liquor to approx. 40%. The mixture is then condensed at room temperature with 35 parts of chlorocarbonate of oleyl alcohol by keeping the mixture permanently slightly alkaline with triazene by adding 330% strength sodium hydroxide solution. plan stirs for 2 hours at 80-900, evaporates to dryness and extracts the reaction product with acetone.
The acetone-insoluble residue is a pale brown colored, crumbly mass which easily dissolves in water to give clear, well foaming solutions. Example 2: 100 g skin substance with a dry content of 70% is broken up with 2.2 g lime for 12 hours at 125-1300,
drops the lime with soda and adjusts to about 30% broth. This broth is condensed with 60 g of oleylchlorocarbonic acid ester by keeping the mixture permanently slightly alkaline with triazene by adding 33% strength sodium hydroxide solution.
The work-up and the properties of the brown colored product obtained correspond to those given in Example 1.
