Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen heterocyclischen Sulfosliure. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Darstellung einer neuen lieterocyclischen Sulfosäure, welches da durch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man 6-Nitro- ?-nierkaptobenzthiazol in alkalischem l%Te- dium mit Oxydationsmitteln in Mengen be handelt, die mindestens drei Atomen wirk samen Sauerstoffes entsprechen und die freie Sulfosäure aus dem alkalischen Medium durch Ansäuern isoliert,
Die neue 6-Nitrobenzthiazol-?-sulfosäure stellt ein farbloses kristallines Pulver dar, ist in Wasser und Alkohol löslich und spal tet beim Erwärmen mit Salzsäure schweflige Säure ab. Sie bildet schwach gelbliche, kristalline, wasserlösliche Alkalisalze. Sie soll als 7"uvisehenprodukt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen und pharmazeutischen Pro dukten Verwendung finden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Zur Lösung von 8,8 Teilen 6-Nitro-2- merkaptobenzthiazol in 100 Raumteilen Na- tronlauge (40 Teile NaOH im Liter) 1_ässt man unter gutem Rühren 100 Raumteile einer technischen Natriumhypochloritlösung von etwa 15 Volumen- % bei etwa -5 bis 0 C einlaufen.
Man rührt noch etwa @/2 Stunde bei gleicher Temperatur nach, saugt den Niederschlag ab und wäscht ihn mit Salzwasser nach. Der bei .80- bis 40' C ge trocknete Rückstand enthält das Natrium salz der 6-Nitrobenzthiazol-2-sulfosäure in nahezu theoretischer Ausbeute. Durch An säuern der konzentrierten Lösung der Alkali salze mit Salzsäure in der Kälte erhält man die freie Säure.

The new 6-nitrobenzthiazole -? - sulfonic acid is a colorless crystalline powder, is soluble in water and alcohol and splits off sulphurous acid when heated with hydrochloric acid. It forms pale yellowish, crystalline, water-soluble alkali salts. It should be used as a 7 "uvisehenproduct for the manufacture of dyes and pharmaceutical pro ducts.
<I> Example: </I> To dissolve 8.8 parts of 6-nitro-2-mercaptobenzothiazole in 100 parts by volume of sodium hydroxide solution (40 parts of NaOH per liter), 100 parts by volume of a technical sodium hypochlorite solution of around 15 volumes are allowed with thorough stirring -% run in at about -5 to 0 C.
