Description

  

  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 176034.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Nüpenfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen  neuen     Küpenfarbstoff,    das     Allo-pyridino-          meso-naphthodianthron,    erhält, wenn man  auf     2-Aminö-2'-methyl-meso-naphthodian-          thron    alkoholisches     Kaliumhydroxyd    ein  wirken     lässt.     



  Das     Allo-pyridino-meso-naphthodianthron     bildet ein dunkelbraunes Pulver, das sich in  Schwefelsäure blauviolett löst. Es     küpt    mit  violetter Farbe und erzeugt auf Baumwolle  echte orange Färbungen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  In eine auf 140' erwärmte Schmelze von  120 Teilen     Kaliumhydroxy    d und 120     Vo-          lumteilen    absolutem Alkohol werden bei 14  bis<B>150'</B> 10,6 Teile     2-Amino-2'-methyl-meso-          naphthodianthron    eingetragen. Man hält:  noch 1 Stunde bei<B>150</B> bis 160  , gibt die  Schmelze in Wasser und arbeitet wie üblich  auf.

   Das hier verwendete     2-Amino-2'-me-          hyl-meso-naphthodianthron    wird erhalten,       nclem    man zum Beispiel das     2-Phthal-imino-          1'-metbylmesonaphthodianthron    mittelst     Hy-          drazinhydrat    in     Pyridin    verseift. Letzteres    kann man erhalten durch Oxydation von  zum Beispiel     2-Phthalimino-2'-methyl-meso-          benzdianthron        mittelst    Braunstein in kon  zentrierter Schwefelsäure.

   Das     2-Phthal-          imino-2'-methvl-meso-benzdianthron    entsteht  wiederum aus dem     2-Phthalimino-2'-methyl-          1    .     1'-dianthrachinonyl    durch Behandlung mit  zum Beispiel Kupferpulver in konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure.

  The allo-pyridino-meso-naphthodianthrone forms a dark brown powder that dissolves in sulfuric acid in a blue-violet color. It blends with violet color and creates real orange colors on cotton.



  <I> Example: </I> In a melt of 120 parts of potassium hydroxide and 120 parts by volume of absolute alcohol, heated to 140 ', 10.6 parts of 2-amino-2 are added at 14 to <B> 150' </B> '-methyl-mesonaphthodianthrone registered. The latter can be obtained by oxidation of, for example, 2-phthalimino-2'-methyl-mesobenzdianthrone by means of manganese dioxide in concentrated sulfuric acid.

   The 2-phthalimino-2'-methvl-meso-benzdianthrone in turn arises from the 2-phthalimino-2'-methyl-1. 1'-dianthraquinonyl by treatment with, for example, copper powder in concentrated sulfuric acid.

PATENTANSPRUCE Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf 2-Amino-2'-methyl-meso-naph- thodianthron alkoholisches Kaliumhydroxyd einwirken lässt. Das so erhaltene Allo-pyridino-meso- naphtbodianthron bildet ein dunkelbraunes Pulver, das sich in Schwefelsäure blauvio lett löst. Es küpt mit violetter Farbe und erzeugt auf Baumwolle echte orange Fär bungen.
