Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe. Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die Darstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes der An- thrachinonreihe und ist dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man 1-Amino-2-brom-4-anilido- anthrachinon in saurer Lösung mit Braun stein oxydiert und die erhaltene Zwischen verbindung mit galiumsulfit erhitzt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 20 Teile 1-Amino-2-brom-4-anilidoanthra- chinon werden in 160 Teilen Monohydrat ge- löst und in üblicher Weise mit 4,5 Teilen Braunstein 70% oxydiert. Das auf diese Weise erhaltene Oxydationsprodukt wird iso liert und mit 80 Teilen Phenol und 40 Teilen gesättigter galiumsulfitlösung so lange auf 150<B>'</B>erhitzt, bis alles wasserlöslich geworden ist.
Das Phenol wird nun abgeblasen und der Farbstoff ausgesalzen. Er färbt Wolle in .grünblauen Tönen an und besitzt die Formel

Der Farbstoff stellt in trockenem Zustande ein dunkelblaues Pulver dar, welches in Was ser mit grünblauer und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löslich ist.

The present process relates to the preparation of a new dye of the anthraquinone series and is characterized in that 1-amino-2-bromo-4-anilido-anthraquinone is oxidized in acidic solution with brown stone and the intermediate compound obtained is heated with galium sulfite.
<I> Example: </I> 20 parts of 1-amino-2-bromo-4-anilidoanthraquinone are dissolved in 160 parts of monohydrate and 70% oxidized in the usual way with 4.5 parts of manganese dioxide. The oxidation product obtained in this way is isolated and heated with 80 parts of phenol and 40 parts of saturated galium sulfite solution to 150 <B> '</B> until everything has become water-soluble.
The phenol is now blown off and the dye is salted out. It dyes wool in green-blue tones and has the formula

When dry, the dye is a dark blue powder which is soluble in water with green-blue color and in concentrated sulfuric acid with blue color.
