  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>178224.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     diazotiertes        2-          Amino-5-nitrophenylmethylsulfon    in saurem  Medium mit der     9--Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-          6-sulfonsäure    vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff  bildet ein blaues Pulver, das sich in Wasser       init        blativioletter    Farbe löst.

   Es färbt Wolle       #        ai        -is        saurem        Bade        in        echten        blaustichig        vio-          letten    Farbtönen an.    <I>Beispiel:</I>    <B>216</B> Teile     '2)-Amino-5-nitrophenylmethyl-          sulfon    werden in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure mit<B>69</B> Teilen     Natriumnitrit        diazotiert          und    die Lösung in Eiswasser gegossen.

   In  diese     Diazolösung    trägt man eine neutrale  Lösung von<B>9-39</B> Teilen     29-Amino-8-oxynaph-          t3            thalin-6-sulfonsä,ure    ein und beschleunigt die  Reaktion gegebenenfalls durch Zugabe von       Natriumacetat.    Der Farbstoff wird     nun        ab-          filtriert,    ausgewaschen und getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 2-Amino-5-nitrophenyl- methylsulion in saurem Medium mit der 2- Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-6-sulionsäure ver einigt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein blaues Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit blauvioletter Farbe löst. Es färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in echten blaustiehig violetten Farbtönen an.
