  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 178224.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes.    Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Farbstoff    erhält, wenn man dianotiertes     2-          z@.mino-5-nitrophenylznethylsulfon    in saurem  Medium mit der     1-Amino-5-oxy        naphtlialin-          7-sulfonsä,ure    vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff       i)ildet    ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in Wasser  mit     grünstichigblauer    Farbe löst. Es     färbt     Wolle aus saurem Bade in     grünstichigblauen     Farbtönen an.  



       Beispiel:     216 Teile     2-Amino-5-nitrophenylmethyl-          sulfon    werden in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure unter Zugabe von 69 Teilen Natrium  nitrit dianotiert und die Lösung in Eiswasser  gegossen. In diese     Diazolösung    trägt man  eine neutrale Lösung von 239 Teilen 1-         Amino-5-oxynaphthalin-7-sulfonsäure    ein und  beschleunigt die Reaktion durch Zugabe von       Natriumacetat.    -Der Farbstoff wird nun ab  filtriert, ausgewaschen und getrocknet.

The new dye i) forms a dark powder which dissolves in water with a greenish blue color. It stains wool from an acid bath in greenish blue shades.



       Example: 216 parts of 2-amino-5-nitrophenylmethyl sulfone are dianotized in concentrated sulfuric acid with the addition of 69 parts of sodium nitrite and the solution is poured into ice water. A neutral solution of 239 parts of 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is introduced into this diazo solution and the reaction is accelerated by adding sodium acetate. -The dye is then filtered off, washed out and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 2-Amino-5-nitrophenyl- methylsulfon in saurem Medium mit der 1- Amino-5-oxynaphthalin-7-sulfonsäure - ver einigt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit blaustichig- grüner Farbe löst. Es färbt Wolle aus sau rem Bade in grünstichigblauen Farbtönen an. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of a new dye, characterized in that diazotized 2-amino-5-nitrophenyl-methylsulfone is united in an acidic medium with 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid.
