Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 101614.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man das     1-Oxy-          naphthalin-5-sulfamidmit        diazotierter        1-Amino-          2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfosäure    kuppelt.

   Der  neue Farbstoff bildet ein     schwärzlichbraunes     Pulver und färbt Wolle im essigsauren Bade  in stumpfvioletten Tönen, welche beim     Nach-          chromieren    blau und beim Nachkupfern vio  lett und echt werden.  



       Beispiel,:     22,3 Teile     1-Oxynaphthalin-5-sulfamid     werden in eine Lösung von 56 Teilen Ätz  kali in 48 Teilen Wasser bei 20-25 o ein  getragen. Es entsteht eine breiige Suspension,  die man bei derselben Temperatur mit 25  Teilen der     Natriumverbindung    der     diazotierten          1-Ainino-2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfosäure    auf ein-    mal versetzt. Man rührt, bis die     Diazover-          bindung    verschwunden ist. Hierauf verdünnt  man mit 150 Teilen Wasser, giesst in 280  Teile 15      /oige        Salzsäure    und fällt den Farb  stoff durch Zusatz von Kochsalz aus.



      Additional patent to main patent no. 101614. Process for the production of a new azo dye. It has been found that a new azo dye is obtained when 1-oxynaphthalene-5-sulfamide is coupled with diazotized 1-amino-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid.

   The new dye forms a blackish-brown powder and dyes wool in an acetic acid bath in dull violet tones, which become blue when chroming and purple and real when coppering.



       Example: 22.3 parts of 1-oxynaphthalene-5-sulfamide are carried in a solution of 56 parts of caustic potash in 48 parts of water at 20-25 o. A pulpy suspension is formed, to which 25 parts of the sodium compound of the diazotized 1-amino-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid are added all at once at the same temperature. Stir until the diazo compound has disappeared. It is then diluted with 150 parts of water, poured into 280 parts of 15% hydrochloric acid and the dye is precipitated by adding sodium chloride.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das 1-Oxynaphthalin-5-sulfamid mit dia- zotierter 1-Amino-2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfo- säure kuppelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein schwärzlichbraunes Pulver und färbt Wolle in essigsaurem Bade in stumpfvioletten Tönen, welche beim Nachchromieren blau und beim Nachkupfern violett und echt werden. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of a new azo dye, characterized in that 1-oxynaphthalene-5-sulfamide is coupled with diazotized 1-amino-2-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid.
