      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 172368.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen metallhaltigen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     .dass    man einen neuen  metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn mau  die Kupferverbindung des Farbstoffes aus       diazotiertem        5-Nitro-2-aminophenol    und     2-          Oxynaphthalin-3.        6-disulfosäure    mit solchen  Reduktionsmitteln in alkalischem Medium be  handelt, die die Nitrogruppe in die     Azo-          gruppe    unter Verkettung zweier Moleküle  überführen.  



  Der neue metallhaltige Farbstoff bildet  ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit  neinblauer Farbe löst und Baumwolle und  Viskose in echten neinblauen Tönen anfärbt.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine wässerige Lösung, die 10 Teile der  Kupferverbindung des Farbstoffes .aus     diazo-          tiertem        5-Nitr        o-2-aminophenol    und     2-Oxy-          naphthalin    - 3. 6 -     disulfosäure    enthält, wird  mit einer Lösung aus 8 Teilen     Zinnchlonür     in überschüssiger     Natriumhydroxydlösung     bei 60 bis<B>80'</B> versetzt. Die ursprünglich    violette Farbe der Lösung schlägt nach Blau  um.

   Durch Zugabe von etwas     Natriumchlorid     wird der neue Farbstoff als blauer Nieder  schlag abgeschieden. Dieser wird filtriert  und getrocknet.

The original purple color of the solution changes to blue.

   By adding a little sodium chloride, the new dye is deposited as a blue precipitate. This is filtered and dried.
