Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoifes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Iiüpenfarbstoff, das 2.2'-Imino-meso-benz- dianthron, erhält, wenn man auf 2- Amino- meso-benzdianthron alkoholisches Kalium hydroxyd einwirken lässt.
Das 2.2'-Imino-meso-benzdianthron bil det ein dunkelbraunes Pulver, das sich in Schwefelsäure rein grün löst. Es küpt mit blaustichig grüner Farbe und erzeugt auf Baumwolle rotbraune Färbungen.
Beispiel: In eine auf 140' erwärmte Schmelze von 120 Teilen I%aliumhydroxyd und 120 Vo- liimteilen absolutem Alkohol werden bei 140 bis 150 20 Teile 2-Amino-meso-benzdian- thron eingetragen. Man hält noch 1 Stunde bei 150 bis<B>160',</B> gibt die Schmelze in Was ser und arbeitet wie üblich auf. Das hier verwendete 2-Amino-meso-benzdianthronwird erhalten, indem man zum Beispiel das 2- Phtalimino-meso-benzdianthron mittelst ]Ely- drazinhydrat in Pyridin verseift.
Letzteres kann man erhalten durch Reduktion von zum Beispiel 2-Phtalimino-l. 1'-dianthrachi- nonyl mittelst Kupferpulver in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure.
Process for the production of a new vat dye. It has been found that a new pulp dye, 2.2'-imino-meso-benz-dianthrone, is obtained when alcoholic potassium hydroxide is allowed to act on 2-amino-meso-benzdianthrone.
The 2.2'-imino-meso-benzdianthrone forms a dark brown powder that dissolves in sulfuric acid in a pure green color. It hats with a bluish green color and produces red-brown colorations on cotton.
Example: 20 parts of 2-amino-mesobenzdianthron are introduced into a melt of 120 parts of 1% aluminum hydroxide and 120 parts by volume of absolute alcohol, heated to 140 '. It is held at 150 to 160 'for another hour, the melt is poured into water and worked up as usual. The 2-amino-meso-benzdianthrone used here is obtained by, for example, saponifying the 2-phthalimino-meso-benzdianthrone by means of elyrazine hydrate in pyridine.
The latter can be obtained by reducing, for example, 2-phthalimino-1. 1'-dianthraquinoneyl by means of copper powder in concentrated sulfuric acid.
