Support pour écriteau. L'objet de la présente invention est un support pour écriteau, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une tige montée à pivotement sur un socle, une douille susceptible de se dépla cer sur ladite tige, cette douille étant articu lée avec une des extrémités d'un bras, l'autre extrémité de ce dernier étant fixée également à pivotement sur le socle susmentionné, le tout étant réalisé de façon que l'on puisse donner à la tige dudit support une inclinai son variable en déplaçant la douille sur la tige.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention.

Le support représenté comporte une tige 1 constituée par un tube métallique auquel est soudé, à sa partie inférieure, un bouchon 2 façonné et monté à pivotement sur un axe 3 boulonné lui-même sur une pièce 4 soudée à un socle 5; ce dernier est formé au moyen d'une plaque métallique triangulaire. Sur la tige 1 peut coulisser une douille 6 munie d'une vis 7 permettant de figer la douille à l'emplacement désiré le long de la tige. La douille est articulée, par l'intermédiaire d'un prolongement 8, avec l'extrémité 9 d'un bras métallique 10, dont l'extrémité 11 est figée à pivotement à une pièce 12, elle-même sou dée sur le socle 5.
Le bras métallique 10 est courbé en 13 de façon que le panneau 14 du support puisse être amené dans le même plan que le socle 5; pour cela, on déplace la tige 1 dans le sens de la flèche 15, la douille 6 se déplaçant également, et la courbure 13 permettant au bras 10 d'éviter la pièce 4. La position dans un même plan du panneau 14 et du socle 5 facilite beaucoup le transport du support. La plaque en tôle constituant le panneau 14 est figée à la tige 1 au moyen de trois boulons 16; elle est de plus munie d'une bordure 17. Une tige 18, terminée par un crochet 19, per met de figer une lanterne audit support.
Ce dernier peut être avantageusement uti lisé par les entreprises de travaux publics, car l'on peut toujours, quelle que soit l'inclinai son du sol, donner au panneau 14 une posi tion verticale; il suffit pour cela de déplacer la douille 6 vers le haut ou vers le bas de la tige 1 et de la fixer dans la position désirée au moyen de la vis 7.

The object of the present invention is a support for a sign, characterized in that it comprises a rod mounted to pivot on a base, a sleeve capable of moving on said rod, this sleeve being articulated with one of the ends of 'an arm, the other end of the latter also being fixed to pivot on the aforementioned base, the whole being carried out so that one can give the rod of said support a variable inclination by moving the sleeve on the rod.

The support shown comprises a rod 1 formed by a metal tube to which is welded, at its lower part, a plug 2 shaped and pivotally mounted on a pin 3 itself bolted on a part 4 welded to a base 5; the latter is formed by means of a triangular metal plate. On the rod 1 can slide a sleeve 6 provided with a screw 7 allowing the sleeve to be fixed at the desired location along the rod. The socket is articulated, by means of an extension 8, with the end 9 of a metal arm 10, the end 11 of which is fixed in pivoting to a part 12, itself welded to the base 5 .
The metal arm 10 is curved at 13 so that the panel 14 of the support can be brought into the same plane as the base 5; for this, the rod 1 is moved in the direction of the arrow 15, the sleeve 6 also moving, and the curvature 13 allowing the arm 10 to avoid the part 4. The position in the same plane of the panel 14 and the base 5 greatly facilitates the transport of the support. The sheet metal plate constituting the panel 14 is fixed to the rod 1 by means of three bolts 16; it is also provided with a border 17. A rod 18, terminated by a hook 19, allows to fix a lantern to said support.
The latter can be advantageously used by public works companies, because one can always, whatever the inclination of the ground, give the panel 14 a vertical position; it suffices for this to move the sleeve 6 up or down the rod 1 and fix it in the desired position by means of the screw 7.
