Description
Process for the preparation of an Oxyearbonsäure.trylides. The present patent relates to a method for the preparation of an Oxyphenyl- allyiamiiicai-botisätireaj, ylides, characterized in that was)
the <B> 3 <I> - </I> </B> Oxy <B><I>-</I> </B> 4 which can be prepared by carbonic acid pressure melt of the alkali salts of 3-oxy-4'-chlorodiphenylamine '- chloi-diphetiylarninearboiisätire with o-anisidine in suspending or solvents in the presence of a condensing agent.
The S-oxy-4'-chlorodipheiiyiamiii-carboxylic acid-o-alisidide obtained is a brown powder which, after recrystallization from chlorobenzene, has a melting point of 142 ° C.
It is intended to be used as an intermediate in the manufacture of dyes. <I> Example: </I> <B> 52.7 </B> parts of 3-oxy-4'-chlorodiphenylaminecarboxylic acid are combined with 24.6 parts of o-anisidine in 700 parts of dirnethylaniline dissolved at <B> 60-700 </B>, 12 parts of phosphorus trichloride added at this temperature and held at 1200 for 8-10 hours.
The reaction product is stirred into excess dilute hydrochloric acid, the precipitate is washed and, after making alkaline with soda solution, any dimethyl anilium present is removed by steam distillation. The remaining lead 3-oxy-4'-chlorodipbeiiylaininearbongäut-e- o-anisidid is dissolved in caustic soda for cleaning purposes, filtered and precipitated with carbonic acid.
