  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     4-Ogy-naphthostyrilkörpers.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung von     N-Äthyl-4-          oxy-naphthostyril,    welches dadurch gekenn  zeichnet ist, dass man ein mineralsaures Salz  von     4-Amino-N-äthy        1-naphthostyril        in    Ge  genwart von Wasser auf Temperaturen von  150 bis 200   C erhitzt.  



  Das so erhaltene neue     N-Äthyl-4-oxy-          naphthostyril    ist ein gelbes Pulver vom  Schmelzpunkt 200   C und soll zur Darstel  lung von Farbstoffen und Heilmitteln Ver  wendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  235 Teile     4-Amino-N-äthyl-naphthostyril     werden mit etwa 1500 Teilen Wasser und  120 Teilen 30%iger Salzsäure 3     Stunden    auf  etwa 200       C    erhitzt. Das erkaltete Reak-         tionsprodukt    wird abgesaugt     und    durch Um  lösen aus Natronlauge gereinigt.

Das so erhaltene neue N-Äthyl-4-ogy- naphthostyril ist ein gelbes Pulver vom Schmelzpunkt 200' C.
