Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstof%s der Pyrazolanthronreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass mar. zu neuen wertvollen Küpenfarbstoffen gelangt, wenn man 2-Aroylpyr-azolantbrone, die im Pyrazol- ring die freie Iminogruppe und ausserdem im Arylkern in o-Stellung zur Ketogruppe ein Halogenatom enthalten, mit säurebindenden Kondensationsmitteln,
wie zurr Beispiel Ka- liumacetat, Soda und ähnliches, vorteilhaft in Gegenwart eines Lösungsmittels und unter Zusatz eines geeigneten Katalysators, wie zum Beispiel Kupferpulver, behandelt.
Die neuen Farbstoffe sind intensiv ge färbte Pulver, die sich in konzentrierter Schwe felsäure mit grünlicher Farbe lösen und Baum wolle aus violetter Küpe in klaren Tönen anfärben. Die Färbungen besitzen gute Echt heitseigenschaften.
Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich nun auf ein Verfahren zu- Darstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes der Pyrazolanthrorrreilre, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Di- chlorberrzoylpyrazolanthr-orr, das man durch Umsetzung von Pyrazolarrthrorr-2-car-borrsäure- chlorid mit p-Dichlorberrzol erhält, mit einem säurebindenden Kondensationsmittel behan delt.
Der neue Farbstoff ist ein braunrotes Pulver, das aus Toluol in Form ziegelroter Kristalle erhalten wird, die sich in Schwefel säure mit grünlicher Farbe lösen. Der Farb stoff färbt Baumwolle aus violetter Küpe gelbrot an.

12 kg Dichlorbenzoylpyrazolanthron wer den in ungefähr 120 kg Nitrobenzol zusam men mit 12 kg wasserfreiem Kaliumacetat, 0,6 kg Kupferacetat und 0,1 kg Kupferpulver mehrere Stunden unter Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Die Flüssigkeit färbt-sich hierbei rot. Nach beendigter Reaktion wird das Nitro- benzol mit Wasserdampf abgeblasen. Der Farbstoff hinterbleibt hierbei als braunrotes Pulver, das durch Behandeln mit wässerig alkoholischer Natronlauge von etwa noch vor handenem Ausgangsmaterial befreit werden kann.

such as potassium acetate, soda and the like, advantageously in the presence of a solvent and with the addition of a suitable catalyst, such as copper powder.
The new dyes are intensely colored powders that dissolve in concentrated sulfuric acid with a greenish color and dye cotton from a violet vat in clear shades. The dyeings have good fastness properties.
The present patent relates to a process for the preparation of a new vat dye of pyrazole anthroric acid, characterized in that the dichlorberrzoylpyrazolanthric acid obtained by reacting pyrazolarthroric-2-carboric acid chloride with p-dichloroboric acid is obtained with treated with an acid-binding condensation agent.
The new dye is a brownish-red powder obtained from toluene in the form of brick-red crystals that dissolve in sulfuric acid with a greenish color. The dye turns cotton from a purple vat yellow-red.

12 kg of dichlorobenzoylpyrazole anthrone in about 120 kg of nitrobenzene together with 12 kg of anhydrous potassium acetate, 0.6 kg of copper acetate and 0.1 kg of copper powder are refluxed for several hours. The liquid turns red. After the reaction has ended, the nitrobenzene is blown off with steam. The dye remains as a brown-red powder, which can be freed from any starting material that is still present by treating with aqueous alcoholic sodium hydroxide solution.
