      Verfahren    zur Darstellung einer     Verbindung        reit    hydriertem     Ringsystem.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Dimethyl-          tetrahydro-benzaldehyds,    welches dadurch ge  kennzeichnet ist, dass man (1     .3)-Dimethyl-          butadien    mit     Akrolein    kondensiert. Die neue  Verbindung soll zur Herstellung vor) Farb  stoffen, pharmazeutischen Produkten und  Riechstoffen verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Die Reaktion vollzieht sich glatt bei un  gefähr dreistündigem Erhitzen molekularer  Mengen von     1.3-Dimethylbutadieri    und       Akrolein    im Druckgefäss auf     10011    C. Der so  erhaltene Aldehyd bildet eine farblose Flüssig-         keit        (gp.   <B>86-88',</B> - p = 12 mm) von intensiv  grasartigem Geruch.
