Gemäss dem im Hauptpatent beschriebenen  Verfahren erhält man     N-Oxyäthyl-N-ss    .     y-          dioxy        propy        1-aminobenzol,    wenn man     N-ss    .     y-          i)ioxypropylaminobenzol    mit     Äthylenoxyd          unter    Druck bei erhöhter Temperatur be  handelt.  



       ZVie    nun     weiter    gefunden wurde, erhält       man    in ganz analoger Weise das     1-Methyl-          I-methoxy-3-(ss    -     y-dioxypropyl-oxyäthyl-          t        amino)        -benzol,        wenn        man        das        1-Methyl-4-          nietlioxy-3-(ss    .     ;

  ,-dioxypropylamino)        -benzol          itiit        ltliylenoxy.d    unter Druck bei erhöhter       Temperatur        behandelt.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  03 Teile     1-Methyl-4-methoxy-3-(ss    .     y-di-          oxypropylamino)-benzol        (Kpl3    220 bis 221',  F. 127 bis<B>128'</B> aus Methanol) werden mit.  15 Teilen     Äthylenoxyd    6 Stunden bei 150  bis<B>160'</B> im -Rohr erhitzt.    Es soll als Zwischenprodukt .bei der  Herstellung von     Azofarbstoffen    verwendet  werden.
