Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer o-Ogybenzyl-aroylamin-arsinsäure. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der 3-Methyl-2- oxybenzyl-phthalimid-0'-arsinsäure der Formel

welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man 3-Methyl-4-oxyphenyl-l-arsinsäure in saurer Lösung mit Oxymethylphthalimid kondensiert.
Die 3-Methyl-2-oxybenzyl-phthalimid-5- arsinsäure stellt ein weisses Pulver dar vom Schmelzpunkt ungefähr 273 . Sie ist leicht löslich in verdünnten Alkalien, in ver dünnter Soda- und Acetatlösung,, schwerer in heissem Spiritus und unlöslich.iri Äther, Ben zol, Benzin und in verdünnten Säuren. Sie soll für pharmazeutische Zwecke und zur Herstellung weitet-er pharmazeutischer Pro dukte verwendet werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 310 kg 3-methyl-4-oxypbeciyl-l-ar-sinsaures Natrium und 180 kg Oxymethylphthalimid werden gut gemischt und unter Kühlung in 600 kg Schwefelsäure von 66 Be bei einer Temperatur von 20-2ä eingetragen. Nach 24 Stunden giesst man auf Eiswasser. Der so gebildete weisse kristallinische Niederschlag wird abfiltriert, mit Wasser neutral gewa schen und in der berechneten Menge kalter Sodalösung gelöst. Man filtriert und fällt durch Ansäuern.

3-methyl-2-oxybenzyl-phthalimid-5-arsic acid is a white powder with a melting point of about 273. It is easily soluble in dilute alkalis, in dilute soda and acetate solutions, more difficult in hot alcohol and insoluble in ether, benzene, gasoline and in dilute acids. It is intended to be used for pharmaceutical purposes and for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
<I> Example: </I> 310 kg of 3-methyl-4-oxypbeciyl-1-ar-acidic sodium and 180 kg of oxymethylphthalimide are mixed well and, with cooling, introduced into 600 kg of sulfuric acid of 66 Be at a temperature of 20-2ä . After 24 hours, it is poured onto ice water. The white crystalline precipitate thus formed is filtered off, washed neutral with water and dissolved in the calculated amount of cold soda solution.
