  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Abkömjnlings    des     Pyrazolanthrons.       Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Verfah  ren zur Darstellung von     Py-I-o-Nitrophenyl-          pyrazolanthron    der Formel

    durch     Aufeinandereinwirkenlassen    von     Pyra-          zolantlrron,        o-Chlornitrobenzol    und Pottasche  in Gegenwart einer geringen     Menge    eines       Kupfer-Katalysators    für die Chlorwasserstoff  abspaltung.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  45 Gewichtsteile     Pyrazolanthron,    38     (äe-          wichtsteile        o-Chlornitrobenzol    und 30 Gewichts-    teile     wasserfreies        Kaliumkarbonat    werden in  Gegenwart von 2 Gewichtsteilen Kupferkar  bonat und einer Spur Kupferpulver in etwa  400 Gewichtsteilen Nitrobenzol unter Rühren  solange auf Temperaturen um 2001 erhitzt,  bis die Umsetzung beendet ist. Nach den  Erkalten wird abgesaugt, vom Nitrobenzol  durch Waschen mit Alkohol befreit und mit  heissem Wasser zur Entfernung der anorgani  schen Salze nachgewaschen und getrocknet.  Das     Py-1-o-Nitropherrylpyrazolanthron    hinter  bleibt als gelbes Pulver.

   Aus höher siedenden  organischen Lösungsmitteln zum Beispiel  Chlorbenzol kristallisiert es in mikroskopisch  kleinen Prismen vom Schmelzpunkt 246-248  .  In konzentrierter Schwefelsäure löst es sich  mit     gelbstichig    roter Farbe und bräunlicher       Fluorescenz.    Das gleiche Produkt wird erhal  ten, wenn zunächst     Pyrazolanthron    und     Ka-          liumkarbonat    durch Erhitzen in Nitrobenzol  zum Kalisalz des     Pyrazolanthrons    umgesetzt  werden, und dieses dann weiter     unter    den      oben beschriebenen Bedingungen mit     o-Chlor-          nitrobenzol    zur Reaktion gebracht wird.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung von Py-1-o- Nitropher)ylpyrazolanthron dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man Pyrazolanthron, o-Chlor- nitrobenzol und Pottasche in Gegenwart einer geringen Menge eines Kupfer-Katalysators für die Chlorwasserstoffabspaltung aufeinan der einwirken lässt. Das Produkt bildet ein gelbes Kristallpulver vom Schmelzpunkt 246-248 und löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit gelbstichig-roter Farbe und bräunlicher Fluorescenz. UNTERANSPRVCEE 1.
